It wouldn't suprise me if there was an ARG.

I don't know why everyone just expected Valve to just announce the game as in release date, trailer etc. That's not the sort of thing Valve does.

What makes it exceptional is that you don't have to make anything up or look elsewhere for hints, just translate the words and their meanings, and you end up with a lambda, an atomic element and the meaning of "hidden".
