Gabe's Emails do not have the signature thing at the bottom.

99% of the gamers are tired of the 1% of the Gabe Newells not showing jack shit. OCCUPY BELLEVUE. Seriously though, anyone have a free spare day or two this summer? I'll be out there, I think we should have a barbecue on their front lawn, put up a banner that says "INFO ON HL3=FREE BARBECUE" and see if we can catch a few fish. I'm serious, I'm doing this, so if you want to come join me, the bigger it is the better it'll get. Remember, he said that it "might" be talked about if there are enough "protesters", so lets show em we love them and their games by having a big-ass fun fest right in front of where they work! We give them enough puppy-dog eyes and they might break. If you want in on helping organize it, pm me, we've got a while to plan this thing.

[sp]Admittedly it'd be the fact that you still use a gravity gun, or some other obvious fact.[/sp]
Seriously how about a fucking "We're working on it, stop speculating" tweet and a couple concept arts or models or something.
Because they want to announce it a special way and want it to be perfect. If they just announce it by throwing a bunch of images, it won't be as good.
Because they want to announce it a special way and want it to be perfect. If they just announce it by throwing a bunch of images, it won't be as good.
If they shut down the lights during some E3 conference, and all the screens were filled with a scratched, blood covered HEV suit chestplate, with the Lambda symbol turning back on, i would stop bitching, because i'd know that they are working on it. Hell, that'd make a fucking great teaser trailer.

E.g "The one Freeman" or just "Freeman".
We already know they are working on it. And i'd prefer some sort of teaser that used one of Gordon's titles. E.g "The one Freeman" or just "Freeman".
We do? Source, please.
We do? Source, please.
We know they are not done with Gordon Freeman, and they would not just skip to the next game in the series. They are definately working on Episode 3 or whatever the next game will be called. They would not just abandon the game for 5 years without doing anything with it. What about episode one?
What about episode one?
Since Episode 1 was the first "episodic" game, it was released pretty quickly. He's just showing the timespan between the Half Life games, and Episode 2 was the most recent.
Since Episode 1 was like half an hour long, it was released pretty quickly.
fixed
What about episode one?
Half-Life to Half-Life 2: 5 years, 11 months, 28 days. Half-Life 2 to Episode 1: 1 year, 6 months, 16 days. Episode 1 to Episode 2: 1 year, 4 months, 9 days. Episode 2 to Now: 4 years, 2 months, 1 day.
28-16=12-9=3. More straws in my hand to grasp.
So we're expecting a game as large as HL2. Neat.
Just so you know, that email from Gabe saying they'll unveil stuff at E3 is fake.
Alright so Hl2 had two episodes, Episode 1 and Episode 2 so 1+2=3 then 3/2=1.5 so 1.5*1.5= 2.25 so Episode 3 releases on.... February 25th 2012

Half Life 1 was released on November 19, 1998 Half Life 2 was released on November 16, 2004 There are 3 days in between the dates so 3 There are 0 months in between the months so 0 and there are 6 years in between the years so 6 Half Life 1 + Half Life 2 = Half Life 3 Half Life 3 will come out 3/06
The time it took from Hl1's release to Hl2's, Valve had made a new engine, remade the story/levels (Because it was leaked), revolutionized the gaming industry, and made a long game. Now, we have seen what they are capable within one year (Left 4 Dead), like being able to create content fast, long, high quality and that their team has expanded alot. We can expect Episode 3 to be very impressive and worth the weight. Gabe celebrates when people expect something from any game convention about EP3.
I checked the half-lives of each lanthanum isotope known, and most of them consisted in just a few minutes or even less, but one of them was 60000 years, so finally we have the release date of HL3, around 62012 AD I believe.
The time it took from Hl1's release to Hl2's, Valve had made a new engine, remade the story/levels (Because it was leaked),
They didn't change anything because of the leak.
