I can explain! 33 ÷ ( 11 [1, 1, 1 - 1]) x eπ = 25.6181637 Then, 25.6181637^4/2 ≈ 656 Then, 656^3 = 282300416 Then, 282300416 - 282300416 = 0 Then, 0 + 3 = 3 IT EQUALS 3 IT'S A SIGN
I can confirm that the math was done correctly.
I can confirm that the math was done correctly.
Is this due to you being 101% Asian?
Right, if we get the image of , and open it in notepad, the first word is "%PNG". If we put that into google translate for chinese traditional, we get "%的PNG". When I entered that into my address bar, I was taken to http://www.xn--hxy.com Inside this sites source is "9343dd9fa3b53aa5f9e0". When put into a hex converter, gives you: "CÝ£µ:¥ùà" When you put that into google, a result is: http://www.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?Location=U2&doc=GetTRDoc.pdf&AD=AD0619526 A outlining sketch of the combustion used in episode 2's rocket. However, when you look closely, it was made by "McCormack". McCormack will make episode 3.
Or maybe, McCormack is really Kleiner in disguise!!
Well I've decided I won't be checking this thread for another three months, I'll see you guys then! Bye all!
Here's the single most important reason for a new engine for the next Half-Life Fucking loading screens every 5 feet. Portal 2 had the same issue. Whether it's a map size limit or valve just being lazy fucks who don't want to have huge maps to deal with they need to not have these load screens appear so often.
In retrospect, Portal 2 probably had the bite-sized maps with loading screens inbetween to ensure the newest version of the engine worked well on consoles, like Spazzo said. If you look at, say, HL2: Episode 2, the maps there are pretty big and take a while to reach a loading point unless you're rushing it, and the consoles handled that just fine on the Orange Box. Same with the Left 4 Dead games, sorta.
If you are worried about loading screens that much, just get a faster computer. [editline]15th December 2011[/editline] I for one do not really care, my game is still there and will load in adequate time in which I'll continue playing.

Sure. Although I enjoy the loading screens. They're not that long for me (10 seconds at most) and they give me a short amount of time to prepare.
Although I enjoy the loading screens. They're not that long for me (10 seconds at most) and they give me a short amount of time to prepare.
Guess what you don't have to buy a new computer :v:
GUYS GUYS After seven years of owning Half Life, I have finally beaten it. Thought I wanted to share.
i still havent
get crackin'
Do you know what the hell a mod is? It's a glorified map pack. Check out Infra (a Portal 2 mod), or the various "mods" for the L4Ds.
Have you ever played Jailbreak Source? Or Smashball? Or DIPRIP? Those are real mods. We haven't had real mod support since The Orange Box.
I think they've optimized it pretty well. I never had a loading screen in Portal 2 last longer than five seconds, and that was on my old computer that was below the system requirements.
It's not the loading times that are a huge issue (although I'm sure it is for some people). What's the problem is is the frequent breaks in the action.
Have you ever played Jailbreak Source? Or Smashball? Or DIPRIP? Those are real mods. We haven't had real mod support since The Orange Box.
Those are total conversion mods, and I'm pretty sure we have.
GUYS GUYS After seven years of owning Half Life, I have finally beaten it. Thought I wanted to share.
I beat it too the other day. Xen is one of the most frustrating video game experiences ever! The credits song is awesome though.
lambda core and xen depresses me for some reason
-snip- Oh wow I didn't realize everyone already knew, My bad.
lambda core and xen depresses me for some reason
I like it. The environment, the level design, ect.. Pretty awesome But after you've played through the whole game, you sit there, thinking Gordon just had a one helluva trip, from a normal scientist, to the one who goes to another universe to save mankind. From the Train, to the Labs, Surface, Core, Xen... Each time i think about those, i get a strange feeling in my head.
Why does gordon know how to operate all of those weapons? I can only imagine if he used the (forgot it already, whatever you can get to help you get in college from the military). Then he would have been trained. But if he wasn't trained in usage of firearms, how could he use them with unnerving proficiency?

All the Half-Life games have given you a vast inventory, and it's great.

^ They train you in firearms on the Black Mesa Hazard Course. Seems to come in handy every once and a while. :v:
Oh cool guys, I found the rifle that the the original HL2 beta assault rifle was based off. XM25
No shit lol.
source SDK ? you can make 2007 content and use any source assets for your mod.
You said about total conversion mods for L4D-onwards Source games. Name some.
You said about total conversion mods for L4D-onwards Source games. Name some.
Tales of the Galactopticon seemed to be doing very well. Don't tell me that wasn't total conversion. [editline]16th December 2011[/editline]
Tales of the Galactopticon seemed to be doing very well. I believe I found a clue.
No shit lol.
Lol it's actally not the XM25 it's the XM29. Difference lies in the fact that the XM29 is a grenade laucnehr wiht assault rifle, whereas the XM25 is just a grenade launcher.
wow valve actually made a nod to the half-life series? astonishing
Did you even read the email from Gabe talking about a "game with a three." being announced at E3?
I wouldn't be surprised if Valve is just trolling us for the fun of it.
