I think, they announce the next Half Life game on the last day of E3, because, just starting the ARG on that day would be counterproductive, as the E3 gets more attention than putting an ARG into the internet, dropping hints.

Sony. HL3 SONY + STEAM EXCLUSIVE OMGGG

I have been sort of expecting E3 to be honest, I really think that we'll hear something before the end of 2012, and that's sort of the middle of the year, it's also one of the biggest gaming conventions and it's not a ridiculous event, like CES. I can't believe some people still expect Ep. 3 at CES.

Hey what if...what if guys...they announce something on Christmas? When they have everyone's attention on Steam due to the sales...they announce something...or start the ARG, what if?

Santa is holding up two fingers, it's two days until christmas...HL3 is coming on Christmas day! Seriously though, did previous sales have any HL references? I can't remember any. If they weren't any on other sales, this probably means something.

Even the shorter Episodes had more than one location in them. It's pretty unlikely that the next one will take us to a western urban environment, but the Borealis was a teleportation experiment, so it could lead Gordon anywhere.

It would be so epic if... With out any warning. Valve releases EP3 on Christmas. Like just pops up... all the info screenshots video.. everything. :v:

Also, I think no matter how they announce it, it'd be the most explosive reveal and most purchased game ever.

People are so paranoid. I want to believe all this is true, with all the half life commotion going on recently. It's obviously not normal. But then again, it's just so hard to believe something Half-Life related might be being teased.
