From someone who's been there and made this mistake, where one is made privy to material, you get over excited and just want to tell everyone. Then it blows up in your face so unexpectedly, and it can hurt.

I think many people, including myself, misinterpreted the clues and thought something would lead to Christmas day; however, maybe there will be a slow flow of clues here and there from now until E3. Seems like things will start picking up next year and into Spring. I bet by the time summer rolls around, Gabe will have personally hidden a few lambdas around my house.
