Gordon Freeman is given a new mission. Repopulate Planet Earth
Half-life 3D sex villa!
Well I guess that's that. Either John didn't work on the project or the next chapter is just on hold/cancelled or not worked on.
He could be lying about not lying.
http://lowrie.camelpress.com/?p=306
There's one thing that we can confirm; Glados isn't gonna be in EP3.
Or maybe voice acting is usually the final stage of development
Or maybe voice acting is usually the final stage of development
I don't think Valve does that. For example HL2 leak had a bunch of lines/voices recordings that were done through out it's development cycle.
Or maybe voice acting is usually the final stage of development
Problem here is a voice actor alreay said he did voice for ep3, remeber that guys? So it isent on hold, voice acting isent last, maybe they just arent using him.
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Valve-Finally-Speaks-Out-About-Half-Life-3-Rumors-38131.html valve starts trolling the community. valve insists they arent trolling the community. this is retarded.
gonna be funny when gabe just shrugs and tells everyone 'hl3 cancelled' and moves on to make ricochet 2
so to sum up everything every alleged hint in pictures can be just valve artists messing around, referencing the universe they know is popular black-aperture.com is the fakest website ever, the domain is registered to an anonymous guy, and is hosted on some shitty indonesian server (iirc) leveraged says an informant told him Gabe has given the go ahead to drop hints for the next half life game while leveraged is well respected (has been invited by valve, runs valveARG, he is in valve comic, look for #4), he can't vouch for this informant Gabe Newell, Marc Laidlow and Chet Faliszek denied any ARG http://valvearg.com/moreproof.png http://valvearg.com/noargproof.jpg http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=27654778&postcount=30 i'm not sure about this, but last ARG, when someone directly asked a valve employee, they don't lie to the community, they might very well avoid questions, but never lie (it's important to have consistency if you want community's trust) Valve is working on DOTA2, a new counter strike, and keep updating previous games, but they might still have some resource left valve is satisfied with how the community reacted to portal 2's ARG, it's likely there will be something similar for the next game of their franchise they announce maybe gabe just gave the go ahead to start thinking about ARG, or decided to call it off for some time because it was generating too much hype, too soon
Someone seriously needs to investigate Valve, Splinter Cell style. Sneak in, find the Half Life, get out.

Lambdas are like this λ.
I can't believe some people and even news sites are still falling for that "Black Aperture" website and also that fake gabe email saying they're announcing all of our favourite things at E3 2012.
I need to make a site called "aperturemesa.com" for the shits and giggles

There is no ARG, as you say. Just a few points for historical integrity: 1) "leveraged says an informant told him Gabe has given the go ahead to drop hints for the next half life game" As I posted before, the informant had made a false assumption which he later clarified before hearing that Gabe had denied giving the go ahead, see this post: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/752880?p=33907255&highlight=#post33907255 2) "he can't vouch for this informant" Actually I can. Perhaps soon I can share more, but for now: He's given me Portal 2, Dota 2 and CS:GO information which was later officially confirmed by Valve. And, you're welcome to look at the following article which we posted to a now defunct site. This article was posted before many gaming sites had any solid news on CS:GO: http://konzortium.com/2011/counter-strike-2-is-officially-play-testing.html 3) "maybe gabe just gave the go ahead to start thinking about ARG, or decided to call it off for some time because it was generating too much hype, too soon" All I can say is that for years there has been radio silence from Valve on the Half-Life franchise. Then the Informant tells me that the decision has been made to start dropping Half-Life references, clues, hints, easter eggs... etc. Then a couple days later, we start to see anomalies in stuff from Valve. So, someone had to give the OK to turn the radio silence into a little bit of chatter. Again, these are just the facts ma'am. You're welcome to dis-believe me. I encourage you to use your brain and decide for yourself. Cheers, Lev
Someone seriously needs to investigate Valve, Splinter Cell style. Sneak in, find the Half Life, get out.
This just in: Ubisoft's next Splinter Cell to involve recovering Half-Life 3. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] So basically, everything's over for now. Guess we'll have to wait for some concrete info from Valve themselves. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] So speculation: Valve said Portal 2 would probably be their last isolated Single Player, meaning it would be their last game that didn't have a multiplayer feature. *Portal 2 only had Co-op*. So, you guys think this would mean Deathmatch would be a full part of HL3 instead of just a separate download?

We can stop now with the analyzing in those photos, jokes or being serious wise.
Here is the source, check the comments. http://lowrie.camelpress.com/?p=306
He said he'd see everyone on New Year's Eve and that he'll ask about it. And now to play the waiting game...
Key word isolated, I think he meant the last game where you're alone/on your own (no humanoid entities)
Ah, yes. I didn't think of that. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline]
He said he'd see everyone on New Year's Eve and that he'll ask about it. And now to play the waiting game...
Good. So, 2-3 days until we hear if Episode 3 is in production or until we hear some new info about it, etc. etc.
finally someone agrees
That's what I just posted a few posts ago :( [editline]29th December 2011[/editline]
Let's stop shitposting now. I don't want to have to come back here with "55 new posts!" only to see bullshit theories, even if they are a joke; it's getting annoying.

Here is the source, check the comments. http://lowrie.camelpress.com/?p=306
New comments make me want to reach new year's eve as quickly as possible
Maybe valve's going to release half life 3 when it's 3rd March 3333.
Valve has been added to GDC 2012: http://www.gdconf.com/news/gdc/gdc_2012_adds_valve_double_fin.html maybe they will show the game there? Because I don't think they will show Dota 2 and CS:GO there while lot's of people uploading vidz from the beta, they will show something new.

Because I don't think they will show Dota 2 and CS:GO there while lot's of people uploading vidz from the beta, they will show something new.

This week, GDC 2012 has revealed three notable Main Conference sessions, featuring Valve on dynamic dialog systems, Double Fine on kid-friendly design, and Rocksteady on the soundtrack for Batman: Arkham City.
This sounds more like a Dota 2 thing than an Episode 3 thing. There has never been any reason for a Half Life game to have a dynamic dialog system, and with Gordon being the mute hero following everyone else's word, I seriously doubt there will ever be a reason for it. They're showing off and giving their approach to the game technology they're developing, not the games themselves. edit: Just realizing that I may be confusing dialog with dialogue, whoops. :v:
So do people still think G-man is Gordon from the future?
