HL2:episode 3 may be dead. IT has had a long line of inactivity. Even Duke Nukem Forever updates every few weeks and hl2ep3 hasn't updated in over a year.

Halflife 2 was but a myth until less than a year before it's planned release date. The news of Halflife 2's release also resulted in the hacking and therefore leak of the beta version, which resulted in a big delay to the release date and revision of much of the content. It's a live. Trust me.

You find a combine base where they have captured Mossman and attempt to rescue her but she sacrifices her self so that Gordon and Alyx can stop the combine using the Borealis. you head through some ice tunnels with several head crabs on the way, and find your way to the Borealis almost falling off of a cliff edge, Alyx pulling you back up. Once you get to the portal core of the Borealis and attempt to shut it down G-man locks you out and forces you to fight an advisor. Once the player kills the advisor Alyx makes a remark in pay-back for the loss of her father's life. When you try to shut down the portal core you fire a combine energy ball into it overloading it. Whilst making a run for it trying to escape the detonating core, you have to fight against G-man's influence. when the player gets to the Borealis' side sticking out of the ice wall you hear Barney calling to you and Alyx to slide down the rope to get to an escape boat (yeah i know...) whilst watching it detonate you see G-Man on a slab of ice passing by the boat and Barney gives you what you have been waiting 10-15 years for. "Hey Gordon! I think you really need this now." Passes Gordon the beer. They all do a toast, and the screen whites-out (credits here with several memorable images from Gordon's adventures, in higher quality if they're from Half-Life 1, in the background and the final image being the toast from another perspective. and actually seeing Gordon's face for once possibly and a rather proud of himself emotion on his face)[/QUOTE] :psyduck: tl;dr version please? I want Gordon to be able to do a side roll move to evade Charger-type antlions like Ant guard, but be even slower in EP3. Then people could abuse this and make "GORDON DOES A BARREL ROLL"-videos. Serious bzns, Gordon and Alyx take a chopper, go to an iceberg where the Borealis is suspected to be. They go and fight snow antlions, which are tougher, take more bullets and stuff but are more dimwitted than those already dumb fuckers in C17 Coast (Meaning sometimes they attack their own?) And finally, they find a ripped open hull of Borealis, nothing but frozen legs and flesh inside. Nothing that could be called technology could be found inside. Finally they get to the deck after fighting more aliens, and Combine show up. You get to the command deck after fighting both antlions AND the combine. Then there is a huge creature that looks like a vagina with 300 teeth and 50 pairs of eyes. What you have to do is similar to Blast Pit in HL1. You have to gather explosive barrels to a big wooden box, while fighting frenzied antlions, Combine Elites which are fighting both you AND the vagina monster. Once the barrels are all gathered, Alyx comes and tells you theyre done and a Combine Gunship crahes right next to the crate, with the explosion blast sending it right at the monster. The monster starts to weaken, some of its skin going off and enabling you to enter it. Here yyou fight loads of new Xenian-based??? monsters like worms, gigantic white cells and shit and finally reach the heart to kill the huge monster. Once you get outside, there is a chopper waiting. The ropes fall down, you ready your smg and rebels drop down. Game ends, Alyx hugs you inside the choppa and the screen goes black. TL;DR YOU FIGHT A HUGE VAGINA IN A BROKEN SHIP. AFTER THAT YOU GO INSIDE IT AND KILL IT THEN GO BACK OUT AND GET RESCUED. Ps. Gman might make an appearance.

At least Gordon breathes in some parts of HL, what means he atleast has a working mouth lol

I think Gordon and Alyx are going to be teleported to/near the borealis so that the valve could evade the awkward concept of how the hell Gordon and Alyx are going to fly a huge fucking distance with helicopter from eastern europe to the frigging North Pole. Which obviously would take so long to reach the destination. Seriously people, think it up. You would need an entire game about just flying a helicopter to the borealis.

Plus, I'd like going into Episode 3 not knowing a damn thing about what's going to happen.

It would be weird for Alyx to kiss Gordon, like she's kissing the screen, and you kiss the screen back. I'm sure the Vortigaunts will play a bigger part. Seeing as they could keep a eye on Gordon if Gman comes back.

Also, titanic outdoor battles have been confirmed.

This is how I imagine it to be. At white forest Dr Kleiner and Dr Magnusson arrive after the scene with the advisors and tell you and Alyx that you should go to the Borealis, since the Combine likely know about it now and want whatever is on it. You get into the helicopter with Alyx. The next chapter starts, and a pair of gunships attack, but luckily there is RPG ammo. Eventually you come to land in the arctic. You need to find the Borealis and stop in a building that looks like it belonged to the resistance, introducing the old zombies. You go into another building and there is what looks like a Combine database revealing the location. Just before you can leave a pair of crab synths attack along with a group of mortar synths. They are defeated and Gman is witnessed walking away with a satisfied look. A dropship and a hunter helicopter flies overhead and the overwatch voice anounces that anticitizen 1 and vance subprime have been found in the area, so Alyx suggests they keep moving towards the Borealises location. the eventually find it stuck in a massive chasm, with the Gman once again in sight on the deck, along with a couple of striders. at that moment a combine camera spots them, and a group of soldiers knock them out. They find themselves bound and a dropship lands in front of them, preparing to take them away. At that moment a portal storm issues from the Borealis and they are freed, and get on the ship. they manage to get into a security vault on board and end up fighting an aperture science AI, and when it is defeated they get the portal gun. They get onto the deck, at which point they are engaged by a Combine Advisor, which turns out to be Dr Breen in a host body. They defeat him, and... Well, that is my idea. :)
