We can just wait until it's announced
I don't wanna wait anymore, whenever I hear "Half Life Episode 3" I'm flooded with all sorts of nostalgia and just wanna lay down and cry myself to sleep and do so until it's released.
I definitely think that some Beta creatures should show up. Such as the Alien Combine Soldier, Stampeder, Combine Assasin, and Sacktick, since they plan on going to a cold area, and the Sacktick don't like the cold. I also think they should bring back some classic Half Life characters like the Military (possibly good?) and Gonome.

I hate people going HL3 PL0Z I can't remember WHERE I heard this, but here goes: There was a 6-year old gap between HL1 and HL2, right? Valve decided after the success of HL2 that they would not put up another 6-8 years to develop HL3, but divided HL3 into parts. That way the gamers could get some playing time and release times in between games would be a LOT shorter. SO: Ep1, Ep2 and Ep3 are TOGETHER HALF-LIFE 3.

That'll be Half-life 3.

We get saved from a hunter attack by a radio operator
Do you not bother reading, or do you just have bad comprehension skills.
he ment numaricly, they cant call it half life 4, and that it would still be called half life 3
Half-life: Black Mesa plotline. Half-life 2 and episodes: City 17 plotline. Half-life 3: The last one in the Half-life series, with some other plotline that answers everything. Just wanted to clear that up.

The episodes are still HL2 for god's sake, they even have the same story arc (HL1=black mesa - HL2=city 17)
Whatever the hell Valve decides to call the next Half-Life game. It's the last of the Freeman arc.
military was wiped out by the combine.... and i would love to see the gonome again
I thought the military was integrated into Overwatch. Soldiers were either turned into Overwatch soldiers or eliminated.
Half-Life 2: Episode One Do you really think after this they will skip to HL4, without a number 3 appearing?
Well Valve seems to love the number 2 and hate number 3
They're cool like that.. :buddy:
for episode 3 I want to love alyx and gordon [editline]09:42PM[/editline] and to discover the true identity of gman
military was wiped out by the combine.... and i would love to see the gonome again
Oh, yeah, Combine invaded Earth. Gonome is epic, and with the graphics vamped up it would be very awesome.
There are more then one GLados [editline]09:05PM[/editline] And it isn't really a jungle. If you've seen the ending of Portal 1, it's like near the outsides of a city. It's just been deserted for 200 years, so naturally the foliage is going to be extreme.
Ok,I can't deny that. But there is only one chell :suicide:
I wonder if Barney is even going to be in Episode 3. It seems Valve almost forgot about him since he never made an appearance in Episode 2
I wonder if Barney is even going to be in Episode 3. It seems Valve almost forgot about him since he never made an appearance in Episode 2
You can always try asking Valve a stupid question like, "Is Michael Shapiro still Barney's voice actor or are you using someone else?" They might answer with something like, "Yeah he's still the voice actor." which means that they didn't forget Barney and they're recording the voices now. Or they can be smart and go, "We can't give you information about that, sorry" to hide the fact that Barney could be in Episode 3.
[editline]09:42PM[/editline] and to discover the true identity of gman
I think the latter part of your post has already been discovered in Half Life 1. If you cannot find the information there, look in Half Life 2, Ep1, and Ep2 and look for the "Research Team" photographs...you'll see someone's face scribbled out. Just connect the dots, aguomega. Barney and the rest of the civilians that were brought to the train left in enough "game hours" to be well ahead of the Citadel's destruction, and well ahead of Alyx and Gordon's stopping point. Whatever/where ever comes after the missile silo is when you're most likely to see Barney and the surviving civilians of City 17. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of town or city up ahead in the plotline of (insert correct title of HL here)...the world in the game clearly did not just consist of City 17 and the surrounding areas.

Watch this if you didn't before :) "When can we expect new installments to Valve's most popular games like Portal and Half-Life? Gabe Newell's got all the answers. GTTV Episode 308" http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/67?ep=67
Episode 3 will shock everyone when it turns out to be similar to Blue shift, but, instead you play Alyx.
