The game will rule over everything when its out. Until then, whining about it doesn't help.
I bet we'll get Nihilanth again.
2011 release? ...Nah, probably not.
yes
They'll add the MesaConomy, allowing you to buy $20 hats for characters in the game. [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] I want a pair of solid gold shoes for Kleiner and a pink cowboy hat for Gordon.
This Christmas Valve will release several pixels to a new concept art as a present to the community
No, just TF2 hats that they didn't even make.
Bump, with a question. In Episode One, there was going to be some kind of singularity grenade introduced, but it was cut for reasons that I cannot recall right now, although I believe it's still accessible through the Console. In Episode Two, we get the Magnusson Device, or "Strider Buster", which may not entirely be its own individual weapon because it requires the Gravity Gun to attach it and another gun to detonate it. What kind of weapon/device do you guys think will be introduced and used several times in Episode Three?
I wish I could go into the future when this is released, make "predictions" and say "I told you so" when it finally comes out.
Fucking wow. I had been thinking of this for a couple years now :argh:
Hello I would like this game to come out now [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] goodbye [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] Also. Random thought. I hope they start Episode 3 with Barney being there. Considering he was heading up to white forest in episode 2, but you don't ever see him nor does anyone mention him.
I hope for an escort mission, infiltration mission, or a new awesome vehicle. It would be fucking sweet to see a tank. Preferably a T-90 since it's in the East world. Or a razor train rammed it. That's what they were originally designed to do. Ram things in their way. Hence the big ass sharp V shape at the front of the engines
I hope they start EP3 with the Gman telling Gordon to wake up, and then he wakes up and sees a rebel/someone else telling him to wake up. I also hope there is something involving Kleiner and a shotgun.

The old stuff is getting... old. Except for the Gravity Gun as long as you find new stuff to throw around.

Even though the Combine practically ruined Earth for twenty years, I'm pretty sure there are more weapons left on the planet other than a USP Match, a Colt Python, an MP7, an OSIPR, a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun, a crossbow, a fuckton of the same kind of grenades, and a rocket launcher.
i think gordon's epic journey would end in episode 3 i still think a Half Life 3 would fuck up the story.
i think gordon's epic journey would end in episode 3 i still think a Half Life 3 would fuck up the story.
How would it fuck up the story exactly?
How would it fuck up the story exactly?
all i can tell you is making Half Life 3 without fucking up the story would be pretty hard from what i can see
You don't know yet what they'll bring in Episode 3 but you already know a Half-Life 3 would fuck up the story? Man I wish I had your clairvoyance. As the Half-Life 2 episodes are planned as a trilogy, it could be very well that Episode 3 will merely reveal the REAL enemy or something and that Half-Life 3 will be about that. I mean, the G-Man is still pretty shady, so Valve can still build all kinds of crap around him. (So far I think he deploys mercenary heroes for changing the tides of destiny for different races (thus Gordon is up for "the highest bidder" and the Human Resistance isn't really surprised about a Freeman unaffected by the timeskip and other things) and is part of some sort of supreme organization that's "neutral" and above all the other fighting races, but I've been wrong before.)
[sp]Valve hasn't even started working on ep3 yet[/sp]
[sp]Valve hasn't even started working on ep3 yet[/sp]
They've been working on it since 2006, idiot. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
The Delayer, will adjust host_timescale to become slower depending on how long you hold the primary attack. The longer, the slower things are. May even set the timescale to zero.
Episode 3 has never been delayed.
I want Combine Soldiers in some really sexy winter attire. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] fur lined coats for example
They've been working on it since 2006, idiot. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] Episode 3 has never been delayed.
Thanks for ruining the fun, asshole

There's also expansions Half-Life 2: Blue Force and Half-Life 2:Opposing Shift
Some of you guys are fucking stupid its incredible [editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
Something interesting popped into my head not too long ago. After seeing people talk about how they'd love if Valve put Adrian Shepard to use in a later Half-Life game, and someone posting a comment from Gabe in the past about how Gordon's story arc may come to an end, but the Half-Life story will not... What if G-man kills Gordon in Half-Life 3 for some reason like betrayal or something, and in another game later in the series, G-man brings back Adrian Shepard so he could finish what Gordon couldn't, and the Vortigaunts are somehow able to use Adrian to get to or kill G-man... Yeah, my idea is kind of flawed. But the general concept.... We're going to have to learn the truth about G-man and his motives sooner or later in the series... Oh and before any of the Canonical bullshit someone might bring up... ALL EXPANSIONS TO HALF-LIFE WERE CONFIRMED TO BE CANON TO THE HALF-LIFE STORY BY VALVE Except for the "Race X" aliens that appear in Opposing Force. EDIT: Or a little alteration to my theory... If Gordon does betray G-Man later somehow, maybe G-Man will send Adrian to hunt down Gordon and kill him whilst manipulating the conditions in the environment to fully support Adrian's efforts. Gordon up against Adrian and G-Man? :siren:EPIC:siren:
Shut the fuck up
Some of you guys are fucking stupid its incredible [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] Shut the fuck up
I'm sorry, but "Shut the fuck up" is not a valid reason as to why you insult our intelligence/creativity. Please try again later.

i don't know for you guys but i sure as hell don't want uplink to become canon
i don't know for you guys but i sure as hell don't want uplink to become canon
What's uplink? [sp]See what i did thar[/sp]
There is nothing canon about Uplink: Canon Fan Video, based on Half-Life 2 Episode 1: Edit, I thought the first video, not the second one was kind of dumb, but I don't take any credit, what so ever :(
Just what the hell are you talking about?
Again, talking about Half-Life: Uplink, see top:
i don't know for you guys but i sure as hell don't want uplink to become canon
(sorry to double stuff, but some people do not get it and blame others for their own box attitude)
