I want Adrian too. That'd be so good.
Adrian makes me moist.
i want Race X to end up being Combine Overworld Inhabitants or even one of the combine races.
i want Race X to end up being Combine Overworld Inhabitants or even one of the combine races.

Some explanation and clarifications about the Race X and their place in the Half-Life universe were given by series' writer Marc Laidlaw; it can be found in the Marc Laidlaw Vault on the HalfLife2.net Forums. There he states that Race X is purely a Gearbox creation that does not figure at all in his thinking about the Half-Life universe.
We probably won't be seeing Race X.
i dont like Race X
Adrian wont be in ep3 Marc said they didn't put expansions in their storywriting of the episodez
[sp]'scuse me if any of these ideas have been posted already; I couldn't be bothered checking through 34 pages of spam.[/sp] I hope that Valve might include some prologue gameplay in the form of the aftermath of [sp]Eli's death[/sp]; I seriously couldn't see Alyx telling Gordon, "LET'S GOE KCICK SUM CUMBINE NUTZ GORDAN!". So maybe there should be a period of time where they are planning their adventure into the Borealis, and maybe even a detailed day-to-day business sort of thing like at the beginning of Half Life/Blue Shift. Valve could include new weapons and enemies specifically to do with Arctic conditions as previously mentioned, maybe even some Portal content (after all, they are venturing into an Aperture Science vessel) like a prototype GLaDOS? But I'd hate to see a portal gun. A possible ending I'd like to expect is Gordon confronting G-Man in some way or another (No speech remember); maybe time travel back to Black Mesa to warn of the impeding events (this is where the Gordon FreeMAN theory comes in). I'm expecting something of the quality of MGS 3, without all the protracted cutscenes, but with the level, quality and finish of a high standard game.
*cough barney calhoun cough*
Yeah but the original Half-Life had hundreds of Barney clones running about...
Eli is going to come back to life via vontigons.
Fucking hell, I haven't even finished half life 2 yet...
remember waaaaaay back when they said this: we are going to be releasing episodes, 3 to be exact. they will be smaller, but produced quicker FUCKING VALVE
Hey guys, Episode 3 came out today, but you gotta go to Filene's Basement and ask the lady behind the cash register. I'm playing it right now, it's ok...
I'm super excited to see how the character models will turn out. Just looking at L4D2 makes me hope every NPC will be up to that standard.
I at least want one little tiny hint toward Adrian being dead or alive somewhere. It would really make everyone happy.
If Ep.3 takes longer to produce than HL2, then I fully expect something longer and to a higher quality than HL2.
I hope that Valve might include some prologue gameplay in the form of the aftermath of [sp]Eli's death[/sp]; I seriously couldn't see Alyx telling Gordon, "LET'S GOE KCICK SUM CUMBINE NUTZ GORDAN!"
I'm hoping for one of the most emotional moments in video-game history, where they have to sort of hop into the helicopter while Alyx is sort of hysterically crying.
It will end like this: Gordon Freeman saves the day with a crowbar.
Yeah but the original Half-Life had hundreds of Barney clones running about...
And Barney Calhoun was the guard in Blue shift. All the other Barneys were not called Barney Calhoun.

[editline]18th February 2011[/editline] I wonder if Ep.3 will run on the L4D Source engine version, or the Portal 2 engine version or even the OB version?

Or even an upgraded version of either of those.

Strider combat should be very different, Valve mentioned that the Strider killed by Dog was a test- you see the Strider's nose turret ripped off so the Strider can't use it, meaning it must resort to melee attacks and its warp cannon. They said this could change the way that certain Combine NPCs are fought, perhaps you can disable certain parts of them. That would be interesting. I read this on the Overwiki somewhere. But I want to be able to kill a Combine Dropship, and not just destroy whatever its carrying. And finally fight an Advisor, of course. I wonder how you can beat a creature that can break your neck without moving. Maybe the HEV suit is upgraded in a way so its immune to telekinetic interference.
Speaking of which, barney saw gordon get dragged away, which is how he could of found his Crowbar "Back at black mesa"
Walter had a crowbar at the end of the game, and barney was with him. Therefore the crowbar Barney gives Gordon must be the one from Walter.
Imagine in Ep3, In like the middle of the game, in a completely unsignificant area of the game, you suddenly see Adrian at the end of the corridor. He sees you, and then runs away. And then you don't see him for the rest of the game. Man would that be mindfuck.

I think it would be better like this, you start the game and look at eli's dead body when shepard and gman explode from his chest, wrestling to the death, after adrian strangles gman until he stops moving, he turns to you, gives you a crowbar and sprints of and then jumps over the next building out of sight, when you look back gman is gone that would be a mindfuck [editline]18th February 2011[/editline] also do want teeny baby DOG called PUP that you get to keep with you, and if he dies, he is gone for good
I wonder if you get to affect the ending in any way, like in HL1 (although do a greater degree). Eli wants whatever's on board the Borealis destroyed while Kleiner thinks otherwise, so maybe you get the final word.
one thing i must ask before the renaisonce cascade, where to combine like they are now, masked and suited up? Did they do that just for earth? I also predict the combine will try to terraform earth
I really cant wait for this game to come out. The other half lifes are so good they can't just stop a series in its tracks.
