Also they're already terraforming Earth, draining the oceans, etc.

I had an idea involving Adrian, but I don't know how Valve works so i'm not sure if they'd come close to it. Essentially, you're moving through the Borealis being hunted by a squad of Combine Elite. Eventually you encounter a new soldier type, deadlier than the rest who begins to harass you for a while, impeding your progress and at other times taking potshots at you that you can't return. Sooner or later you finally get to one-up this particular soldier, which critically injures him or something along the lines as his helmet falls off but he has a nondescript or maybe even hidden face before he bleeds out or such. Not long after, you encounter G-Man, who gives startling implications that you just killed Shepard. v:v:v

Plus there's no way he could've been combine'd, you know, with him being in stasis and all.

Wouldn't it be a cool plot twist if the whole series turns out to be a tv show. And everyone knows about it except you. Your guns are filled with blanks and when you shoot at the soldiers/gunships/helicopters/striders they just fake getting killed/blown up). Hence why your allies don't die when you shoot at them. And in the end of Episode three, after an emotional scene where Alyx Vance dies, ashton kutchers walks out of a portal and yells "YOU'RE PUNKED". Good idea y/n?

They are expendable of course (As seen in Episode One) but useful.

Lamarr was in HL1? I didn't know that.

I'm actually beginning to be excited for some news again, with Portal 2 so close to release. Episode 3 HAS to be their next game, besides DOTA.

Considering headcrabs haven't been implied to mate or such and Gonarchs create entire groups of them singlehandedly, something tells me they don't need males.
