I wonder what the Combine fleet looks like (if they have one).
For some reason, I always imagined a Combine ship to look like this:

Who knows, JJ Abrahms and Gabe Newell were friends, back in the LOST days, unless Gabe got aggravated how in Abrahm's FOX show Fringe had those mysterious guys in the hats use the "prepare for unforeseen consequences" line just like Gman, as if their behavior of bending time and space is not enough, not to mention the real Eli Vance was on that show after getting killed of in HL2: Episode Two. I think a new Combine ship should be obvious.

But seriously, they need to bring back those characters, they could have had brief appearances in the story line, but it'd be great to expand them even further.
My theory on the reason the game is taking so long is because they're remaking all the entities. So they look more updated. Heh a man can dream.
If Episode 3 isn't on some sort of new engine I will be pissed for waiting this long.

I hope we see more of the technological capabilities of the Combine in Episode 3. A trip to the Combine Overworld would be much appreciated, or at least some other dimensions. I wonder how big the Combine Empire actually is...

Shit, I dreamt today that somewhere between now and march 3rd, there will be some kind of beta for a new feature in hammer I belive. Anyways, there will be a test map, and in it there will be an easter egg with hidden text that says something about Alyx and Gordon being captured and that there will be more information March 4th.

Most people want an explanation to the G-Man in Episode 3, but I disagree.
Explaining the G-Man in Episode 3 would ruin his mysterious character. Come on, the main reason why we love him so much is because he's so god damn mysterious. He walks around in his blue suit, straightening his tie while zombies are raping rebel's skulls, and he appears out of nowhere holding a speech to you... His intentions are unknown, and whether he's an ally or enemy is beyond the player.
Sure, a bit more clarification would be nice, but let's not give away the entire character.

Personally I'd like to see more Overwatch. I love fighting combine soldiers and I hope for them to be revamped and made more powerful in the next game.

I think they've been waiting for Portal 2 to announce it for some reason. Probably some relation to the Borealis. So what you find out about it from the two games are in the order they want you to find out about it.
They won't announce anything before portal 2 is out effectively.
They want Portal 2 to sell well, not being pushed in the shadow by a EP3 Announcement.
I realy cant see how the announcement of Ep3 will push Portal 2 in shadow -_-

I'd be most pleased if they announced a "New Source" game engine, but I don't think it will deliver along side with the episode 3. But most definitely in Half-life 3!
It is tricky though, given how long it has already taken for Episode 3, people are expecting a lot more from it than what the Episodes 1 and 2 were. I don't, though.
