I've finally got it. They can't release Ep. 3 cause Margan Freeman is doing Gordon's voice. And he told Valve he's been sick... for the past couple of years. so Gabe is still sending him 'get well' cards.
everyone dies, Alyx is sad, Alyx dies (for good), Gorden cries, GMan comes and says "How would you like to meet my emploiers", turns out he works for 7 Advisors, Breen comes back, you fight them all, GMan kills you at the same time you kill him, the game is over, the world explodes because the game was so fucking awesome.

The voice actor that played Breen is dead.

Aperture exists in the same universe with the Combine Technology correct?
We never actually hear the Combine talk about Aperture do we?
Do the Combine know that the Aperture chambers exist?

I believe that they know that it exists (they are going after the Borealis after all), but I don't think they ever found the actual laboratory that Portal takes place in. The complex was mostly (I would say 95%) underground, and everyone who knew about it was either dead, or in stasis.

I love that he only needs to sak "will we ever see it?" and still we all know what he is talking about.
I better get some TF2 item from preordering it or I will never buy it.
Episode 3 won't cut it anymore.
If it's anything like the episodes 1 and 2, it has taken too long preparing just another, 3rd part of extra max. two hours of gameplay.
I hope they got some cool shit in the works along with "Episode3", whatever it turns out to be.

Two hours of gameplay? It wasn't that short.
Portal 1 was a short game, the sequel is going to be alot longer. Just because previous games were short doesn't mean the next one has to be aswell.
The HL2 episodes have got better as they have been released. Ep1 was alright, but EP2 was awesome. The story is already there for EP3, and it will most likely use the updated engine used for Portal 2.
Speaking of which, wouldn't it be funny to make a snowy wet mess of Alyx similar to propulsion gel, I mean think of what you could do with that in EP3! You could pick up falling snow clumps with the gravity gun, then bury her in it, until she's frozen that you don't see her in HL3!

Don't you want to hear
'GORDON!' 'GORDON!' 'GORDON!' 'GORDON!' the whole game?
Today would be the perfect day to announce Ep3
