Stop messing with your friends honey. You should rather get up from the basement, i have made some cookies for you.
I dont think they would put Eli in a personality sphere, i mean for the Half Life Franchise, that humor doesn't really work.
I so fucking cannot wait for this shit.

I'm going to explode when I hear the first news of EP3.

"Nobody" ey'?
This is my point, everyone is happy with Counter-Strike: Source! A new Counter Strike would never be better. (I personally hate Counter-Strike but still).
when are you going to release counter-strike 2?
I'm not gonna release Counter-Strike 2 sorry.
Who want a free beta key for EP3, found 13 when i was cleaning Gabe Newell's room.
BTW the idea of Eli Vance being transferred into an AI core once they find the Borealis and all it's tech sounds kinda badass. VALVe writers WILL FIND A WAY! But yeah his head is kind of messed :-/

You got one.
Hey everyone, keep in mind that every Half-Life installment(except Blue Shift) came with a competitive multiplayer component:
Half Life - Half Life Deathmatch
Opposing Force - Opposing Force Capture The Flag
Half Life 2 - CSS followed by HL2DM
Episode One - HLDM:Source
Episode Two - TF2
That means Episode Three will probably COME WITH CS2.
What CS2?
I don't think Valve is working on any other Counter Strike aside from Source, especially when they seem to still be upgrading it. If that isnt the case, then they are keeping everything under covers like Ep3.
Anyway, now that Portal 2 is released, how about some Ep3 for us?
Valve isn't going to fuck up Episode Three. Want to know why? Because each game has it's own dev team. It's not like Robin Walker will be designing the gameplay of Half-Life 2: Episode Three, no. Instead it will be probably someone from the original team. The HL2E3 team will probably be the old school guys banded together. Besides, they know how much pressure that thing has on it. They're not going to fuck it up especially since most of their fame is based on that same franchise. It'd be like you'd be the fastest marathon runner on Earth, you'd be on newspapers and suddenly you decide to chop your left leg off. Like, what's the point?
I don't have any worries about Episode Three. I'm pretty sure they'll take it seriously. Although what I am worried about is how they're going to market it. If it's going to be an ARG then holy fuck they better make it the most complex and tough ARG ever invented to man to match with the glory of the game itself.
Although now that I think about one thing is very concerning. ONE FUCKING THING.
Kelly Bailey isn't most likely going to compose Ep3's soundtrack. That is unacceptable. Every single Half-Life game known to mankind has his music. It won't be Episode Three without him, it just won't. At least not to me, I mean fucking think about the amazing soundtrack HL1 and HL2 has.

I'm not a big fan of the HL2 soundtrack, though. Let's face it, HL2 isn't famous because of its music.

I think a good analogy for the music in the HL games is sort of like the soundtrack for The Social Network. It didn't win the oscar because it was the most broadly cinematic, but because it was the soundtrack that most perfectly fit the film. HL music fits in exactly the right places - it's in the foreground when it needs to be, but other times it perfectly blends in with the rest of the sensory experience.
(Although, if I may say so, I was still pulling for Zimmer's score for Inception...)
I definitely think that the HL2 music is good, it always enhances the fighting scenes.
Perhaps they already did the recording of the music?
Don't mind me, just riding the optimism rainbow. :buddy:
I wonder if we'll be traversing snowy landscape this time around.

Vortal Combat made shooting the antlions very satisfying.
