Its the 70's Aperture entrance
And it does look like there's stuff missing from it. However, exactly WHY Aperture would build an icebreaker in a salt mine with no way out escapes me. Well, they are known for inefficiency.

Right at the end of Chapter Six, the map you get POTaDOS in. Even in the same building to, just look for a door in a corner blocked by a filing cabinet.

The dry dock itself is apparently a new type of teleportation test, according to the Cave voice-box next to the door.
Or portals.

He didn't say that it wasn't a dry dock :downs:
or is this some joke that went over my head or what

That was for the room next to it.
But why wasn't there a voice box near the Dock's door? there isn't even signs that it was removed.

Cave Johnson will test new incendiary lemons on you house because of that
To get Little Rocket Man do I have to simply put the Gnome into the rocket or does it only unlock after the strider battle?
To get Little Rocket Man do I have to simply put the Gnome into the rocket or does it only unlock after the strider battle?
Put the gnome inside the rocket hatch and close it.
And it should unlock straight away?
yep, good luck passing that part involving driving along a specific railtrack.

while being shot by a hunter chopper, with a gnome constantly falling off the car.
Well, it was possible to trap the Gnome inside the bars of the car back then, but since this is about Ep3;
I never noticed this before, so forgive me, but I was on an online server, and there were 4 or 5 adult advisers, I don't think npcs, maybe bots, I guess I did not know they could attack you in GM with their arms, but only after you hit them with the crowbar 4 times. When you hit them the first time, they seem to rapidly rock back and fourth, but hit them a second time, they attempt to fly away, however a third or fourth time seems when they get real angry, then they seem to attack me with their right arm in a rapid stabbing type manner. I never had that happen singleplayer before, so WTH is this?
Was this posted yet? http://pastebin.com/q9JB5L9y
Someone apparently found Combine Advisor files in the Portal 2 SDK
from the portal 2 thread, seemed relevant

I guess they'll become enemies in Ep3.
Did you guys not hear the part when Cave Johnson said he had signed a contract with Black Mesa and he wished he hadn't? Well I think the Borealis is part of this contract.

Well, if they knew they could teleport the thing anywhere, they could build it anywhere, and apparently they had some unused space 4km underground. Makes sense to me.

He never said that. He said Black Mesa stole from Aperture and that's the only time he mentioned them.
You know what I never understood from Ep3? Why did they texture the trunk of the Muscle Car if you can't use it? It would've been perfect for transporting Chompski!

Ep3?
Ep3?
he means episode two...
that's the trunk:

I think originally they did not realize the trunk actually would of been needed, also you have seen the original Episode Two jalopy, right? The yellow Dodge Charger was only to replace the original Episode Two jalopy, but the original has a lot of resemblance to regular HL2, that did not have a trunk, just an open frame, with an open refrigerator in the back, instead.

I don't know, maybe someone felt just putting the gnome in the trunk would of been too simple, instead of having to drive like this :(

Nobody ever asks alyx to hold it for them.
Nobody ever asks alyx to hold it for them.
Gordon: "Carry this gnome for me."
Alyx: "What? Why?"
Gordon: "I'm trying to get a Steam achievement. It involves taking the gnome to White Forest and launching it into space."
You see how ridiculous that sounds?

Whenever I tried holding it like that it would always fly out when I went around corners. I found a way to shove it into the black part in the back on the roof, but even then it would fall out if I hit a bump or went uphill.
