5 bucks we are going to the combine home planet
Probably not. The combine managed to take down Earth with a small force (by their standards). An assault on the Combine homeworld is like trying to fight a meat grinder with your cock. It won't work and will fail horribly.
episode 3 better have mantis men
This is actually plausible

I don't the HEV suit is good enough.
Has anyone ever considered how dedicated Valves employees are? I mean seriously, Crysis 2 was completely leaked by one of their developers and yet Valve somehow manages to keep every single one of their employees from talking about one specific game for 4-5 years.. Also personguy I'm gonna need your address and some rope.

He pretty much fucks everything up. With the exception of Alyx.

The Advisor's attack is basically the Poltergeist from the Megaman Battle Network series. It picks up a bunch of random stuff, holds it in the air telekinetically, and then throws it at you one at a time. I get this info from a youtube video apparently made from game files from episode 2.
5 bucks we are going to the combine home planet
I've been thinking this for ages. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline]
Don't you also need a host body to live in their environment?
Don't you also need a host body to live in their environment? I don't the HEV suit is good enough.
If we go to combine homeworld, the HEV suit will get an upgrade. It's too iconic to get rid of.
half-life 2 episode 3 will come in episodes and then they'll forget to make half-life 2 episode 3 episode 3
Well i got some shitty news, Valve said no Half Life at E3 2011..
Valve -- best known for developing the critically acclaimed Half-Life series -- revealed via a press release that it will not be showing any games at E3 2011. According to Doug Lombardi, Valve's VP of Marketing, media outlets needn't make any E3 appointments because "[Valve is] not showing any titles at this year's show. So no appointment is needed." Well then. It should be noted that Valve's message refers specifically to media demos, so technically the publisher could make an announcement at one of the big press conferences, or reveal a trailer. I thought Half Life 3's concept was a cyberpunk world with Black Mesa taking control of the world "clean" of aliens with the attack of the combine leaders from another dimension + free roam
Eli is going to come back to life via vontigons.
woah...woah..whoa! did he just say gman is impationt? wtf???? i wonder why????
woah...woah..whoa! did he just say gman is impationt? wtf???? i wonder why????
what did you even say?
Something about Gman being impatient, I can't really know who "he" is because it's a reply to a 55 page old post. Also if he cares so much about Gman it abviously means he's young.
It obviously means he's young.
Yeah, I couldn't tell from his overuse of unnecessary punctuation????!?!?!!!!!!?!?!!!!!?!!!!...
That's what I thought after I made this post and shut down the computer.
This should be Episode 3's theme song
This should be Episode 3's theme song
But Episode 3 has never been delayed.
But Episode 3 has never been delayed.
Technically he's right, since Episode 3 has never been officially announced in the first place.
Holiday 2007. :colbert:
Technically he's right, since Episode 3 has never been officially announced in the first place.
We can all agree that they've delayed it internal-wise.
Technically he's right, since Episode 3 has never been officially announced in the first place.
While I never remember an official release date announced by Valve that I know of, remember when Gabe Newell himself, said this in the commentary? I would like to think Gabe would not go back on his word about Episode Three. If what he said was not official back then for the future, then I really am confused.
i wonder if episode 3 is going to include personality cores. i wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing as the original portal 2 storyline and there's just a bunch of cores running around the borealis and messing things up for the combine.
It'd be good even if Valve doesn't have any plans for an Episode Three just to do it anyways. Everyone wants it, and Episode Two left a huge cliff hanger. You can't make a Half-Life 3 take place chronologically just days after Episode Two because that sounds a bit silly. Hell, even like one of the comics Valve does to fill-in the narrative after the events of Episode Two would be sufficient.
