What would be the point in them adding that?
to rustle our jimmies for fun
where's the progress
Can't make much out of any of them except the last Male one (DataTransMaleVx02.wav), and even that sounds foreign to me. Still tinkering with it. [editline]22nd July 2011[/editline] "Fes(something)...uh..um...warum." And then something akin to a sigh at the end. [editline]22nd July 2011[/editline] The DataTransGarbledFMaleVx01 has more coherent words, but still messed up. The end says "With the city, we're absolute" or something close to that.
Currently looking at DataTransMaleVx01. "Hmmph. We have it....(?)" I really don't hear "the chip" that was suggested in npx190's post, but to build on his post about it being a Vort, the second part does sound a lot like Vort chanting. Alright, with DataTransGarbledFMaleVx01, it sounds a lot like the developer commentary from some unknown game with parts taken out.
It doesn't sound coherent no matter what I do... ah well...
Cross-post because I can.
SSTV? Nah, Valve wouldn't reuse that. ...TO THE GABEMOBILE! Yes, I made that especially for this post. 5 minutes well spent.
[editline]22nd July 2011[/editline] Playing them all reversed at once is trippy.
I no speak leet, sry? But seriously, your logic is fundamentally flawed. You can't just "un-kill" someone. Although, Valve could, in theory, introduce a new character entirely to fill in the missing space.
what?
what?
You dont remember the dream plotline? From dallas?
You dont remember the dream plotline? From dallas?
i don't even know what dallas is
You dont remember the dream plotline? From dallas?
Wasn't it some BS storyline where a character died and they went on for 2 years only for one of the characters to wake up from a dream?
Wasn't it some BS storyline where a character died and they went on for 2 years only for one of the characters to wake up from a dream?
Yup. It made an entire season invalid.
Yup. It made an entire season invalid.
Maybe that's why it was cancelled...
I just realized something the rest of you probably realized in 2007! The Advisors suck the knowledge out of people when they kill them, right? That means they know about Gman, through Eli.
Which means they will have to go Advisor hunting.
I thought they were hunting them for their knowledge of the resistance? And I thought nobody except for you and Eli knew about Gman?
I thought they were hunting them for their knowledge of the resistance? i just remembered that valve mentioned an episode four. http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_Four i wonder how long THAT'll take to come out.

I'm pretty sure the Breen authorised the test on the day of the RC so I'm pretty sure he knows of the G-Man's existance. Wether he know that he is a being from another dimension is speculative though.

Like the Silents on Doctor Who.
In HL2 Alyx mentions Mossman always goes on about how it should have been HER in the test chamber that day was that Implying she was a Hazardous Environment Supervisor like Cross and Green?
Saw this a page or so back, decided to explain (from my knowledge): Kleiner was Gordon's professor in college. So, Gordon and Mossman both applied for the job at Black Mesa, but Kleiner put in a good word for Gordon, so he got the job.
I'm little confused about that episodic statement. They said they moved past the episodic content releases and work on shorter ones. To this day I don't really understand what that means. I get we won't see Episode Three, but did they mean they are capable of working faster or they would release it even more parts? Also if they decide to release something like HL3 I won't complain if it will have some release schedule.

It was his Innsbruck experience that got him into Black Mesa ahead of Judith Mossman. Gordon got the job because he studied at MIT, not the university of Innsbruck. He was present at an experiment in Innsbruck though.
I said he attended. I didn't say he studied there.
Interesting stuff going on: Another Possible Valve ARG http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1110603-Another-Possible-Valve-ARG
Interesting stuff going on: Another Possible Valve ARG http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1110603-Another-Possible-Valve-ARG
This, most likely, has nothing to do with Valve.
