Deepground: A steampunk RP in need of ideas, and more

For me I need a visual image of the town before I can name it appropriately.
I guess the naming will come after the building then. Well, I got one mid-term done today, one more left tomorrow and then I can get a sever up and we can try to make this thing.
Can there be alchemy?
Instead of the, exscuse this but. Slightly generic Terra Lord. How about, DeepThane, or some other form of that?

Its just an idea, as I am still torn between either using Terra Lord or Deep Lord, or something like that. I needed a name to go with Sky Lord, so, ya.

Some skins would be nice. Possibly skins to classify the jobs people can be and all that stuff.

Anything, I guess. Skins would be nice, buidlings, story ideas, etc.
I am actually surprised with how many people want to help out with this. Really, I am surprised. Perhaps I should of posted my ideas all the time.

Roll off some of these job ideas and I'll have a go.
Well I know miner would be one job, having goggles and possibly a mask so that they don't breath in harmful chemicals (optional, of course). Guards, airship captains, civilian, surface explore (basically someone who looks like hes prepared for a day or two on the surface or something like that), and maybe some possible others if I can think of them.

I'd be happy to do some skins too. I don't want to feel like I'm taking over though.
Also, how exactly do we rp if everyone on the server can read what is going on, rather than within a close range?
Don't worry on it dookster, you won't be taking over. And more skins would be nice, somethings victorian yet having the steampunk vibe. A set of skins I guess for both the people living in Deepground and the people living in the sky (who I nicknamed Skylanders).
I could create some (destroyed) cities around the land for people to explore, I have alot of spare time so I could fix up some backstory for each settlement?

Hmmm, I am not sure. If there is a plugin to enable local chat, and other things like emotes and all that stuff, then perhaps I can use that. I will need to look for something like that.

Ya, backstory would be nice. It would take some time for the towns and cities to construct in Deepground, so presume that they sent miners and construction workers underground while humanity fought against the Mechanicus. I imagine towns and cities falling one by one as the Mechanicus moves away from their 'birthplace', eventually leaving only a few cities and towns left when the plan for Deepground was made.

Have a dark, destroyed tunnel for the trains, and eventually at the end you see a little hole in the wall the train's about to go through, and you come out in some place like THAT. It'd be an astounding change of scenery and would be pretty awesome too

I found a few good plugins that would help out with the rp. Like I mentioned in my last post, I found a local chat plugin that should help us with the global chat problem that all rp servers has. Not only that, I found a plugin that allows the use of nicknames, which in turn would allow people to change their names to their character's name and such. I also found a plugin to control the mob spawns, such as turning them off, though a planned feature for the plugin is to control what mobs spawn and the spawn rate, which would be perfect for something like Creeper attacks and Mechanicus night raids.

There should be, as it would fit in a steampunk setting and the such, with each class contributing to the economy of Deepground, minus the thugs of course. You have lower class, upper class, and whatever class which would be higher then upper (Deeplords, any other high government class).
Update: Two plugins I know I will use is WorldEdit and WorldGuard. WorldEdit allows the use of building, fixing, and undoing incidents, making it useful to quickly build up what we need for the server plus build and change things according to events. Second, WorldGuard protects the server from griefing or other accidents, making it needed if we don't want one of our cities easily being destroyed by griefers.
I already have a character in mind! It's a guy who's had his arms torn off by the mechanicus and barely survived, and is now living with mechanical arms.
I can do some skins too if you want.

Not that I know of. There is one that is being worked on here on facepunch I think...
Bit of a side note: I got plans for one of the first major cities which will be based of that picture I used for the train. Not only that, but I keep thinking of improving the design of the Deep Pillar, the building I designed using MCEdit that I posted a picture on the first page. Once I get the server up and running, I would indeed need help on making the pillar bigger and much more intimidating, and perhaps safer to transverse as the only way up and down the pillar is a ladder in the inside.
I may or may not be able to host it for you.
But I've only got a 15 slot server, which won't be enough if this gets popular.
And all plugin and map switching has to go through me, no FTP or control panel or anything.
And it's going to go down once I finish the game I am making and it goes into beta.

Anyone wanna make this a bit more Steampunkish? I mean you can change whatever you want, I just want it to retain the actual model (IE. Armored suit, Helmet). Maybe make the P on the back a D for Deepground, and Make the helmet more of a diver helmet?

Hmmm, its an option. I will think about it.
Can I help?, I would like to create buildings.
I could help write up a story and build, that's about it v:v:v
I would like some story, so a concept would be nice. Builders would be nice too.
