I use DXT1 its the smallest + its working for me
When I am causing chaos in a helicopter, and I take out the military's choppers, they send in another wave in like 15 seconds. I would like to see the time between military helicopter waves increased to like 5 or 10 minutes. (depending on heat level)

I see, I'm probably using the wrong directory, I'm saving the vehicle pictures in this folder:
just cause 2/dropzone/textures/blackmarket/
with the following format:
bm_v041_tractor.dds
I thought the blackmarket.bin would automatically look there, guess I'll have to tell it to look on:
Textures/blackmarket/bm_v041_tractor.dds
What pisses me off is that in the case of v041 for example, it spawns 4 different vehicles, and I don't think there is a way to make them spawn sepparately :v:

Maybe 60 seconds, 5 minutes is a long time.

That stops the camera from autocentering, it can be useful but not as useful as where you can lock the [I]entire position[/I] of the camera, so it's proper fixed and will not move while you can go around performing stuff infront of it.
Is there a chance of being able to lock the camera's world position?

I want an option to turn on/off concussion TNT that doesn't do damage, but throws everything with great force, and a changeable value. Also a rapid grenade/TNT thrower for lulz.

as posted and put in the wiki, i got the aeroliner 474 to go 2x faster (or more..?) and have fighter jet handling. I hope we can expand on those settings.. I will test cars and see what those other values do.

I like to use the games folder paths, much cleaner and easier to understand, also the game creates an arc and a tab file inside the dropzone folder when running, I'm guessing it's whatever is in the dropzone folder, but compressed. I'll take a look, might be an easy way to make them proper mods.
Can anyone take a look at making health recharge to 100% rather than just halfway? It really pisses me of when I hide in cover, but still have to spend ages nearly dead trying to find a health cabinet.

Do a manual save then start a new game, after the first tutorial mission(s) you can go straight to the island.
So is the whole map unlocked at the beginning of the game? I'm thinking of buying it either for the 360 or the PC, I'm downloading the PC demo now to see if I can run it well.
Does anyone know of a Website for just cause 2 mods. i cannot find one and am thinking about starting one that ppl can upload there files to. would love to see a central place for all the mods coming out for this as oppsed to searching though various forums.

Thank you Bolopatch for the great patch. Apparently for some people, me included, the adaptive heat level goes bonkers and the heat reduction function helps a lot.
I was wondering whether it was possible to add a little to the heat functionality. Currently we have:
1. No heat at all
2. Manual heat reduction every time it goes up to 4 or 5 again
Option 1 makes the game way too boring, and option 2 becomes tedious after a while. I was wondering if it was possible to add a function like "automatic heat level reduction" or "monitoring", so for example if we set it to level 1, then heat would never go higher than level 1?

Yes, the whole map is open all the time. (Not in the demo, of course, and you have a tutorial mission to do) You'll have to do faction missions and cause chaos to unlock new story missions and race events though. (And don't worry about blasting through the story, you can keep playing afterward and won't lose anything)
And I just did the Reapers' "Chemical Heist" mission. Bolo was fantasizing over the radio. She's pretty crazy. The hot kind, not the repulsive kind.

Put it in the dropzone folder inside the JC2 main directory.
How do you open the .dds files, I cannot open them with paint.net, could be because there from the 360 version?
i wish i was smart enuff to figure out to do any moding to this game. personally id make some sorta superman-ish mod to be able to just jump and start flying about 2x faster then the jets.. that would be fun i think
Woo I got an average 57FPS int he benchmark with everything at Max 'cept for AA. But the bench mark is nothing... I mean there is no action in it, hows it suppose to judge your FPS in a battle zone?
So do we have an explanation about that island that makes your plane crash? As I see it the big tower in the middle of it charges up itself, if you are flying too close.
Also the dark tower benchmark is on that island.
And is it me or the pepole there are Chinese, and wearing hats with red stars?
