There is basically no damage when ragdolling, you can easily ragdoll from the summit to the base of the highest mountain.
I noticed. Tried to ride down a mountain on a bike. It exploded, I rolled down it for a few miles then landed in an airfield. Fucking died. :(
The infinite grapple download link got edited to point at the front page on that wiki, just look at one of the previous revisions to get the link until someone fixes it.
Fixed.
updated the rest of the weapon stats on the wiki....
and afew more cars too....
A quick question. Once a base comes under friendly territory, are there any consequences of blowing up the remaining gas tanks and stuff for chaos?
Weapon page done; gonna get screens for the Easteregg page

No; go ahead
I tried to see how far I could go off island. I put a bottle of scratch doctor on my W key and left it for about an hour, progressively taking screen shots. After 100 km, the distance record reset to two digits. Every ten kilometers there after was record as 1 km (the last picture is 104.4 KM). The day night cycle also slowed drastically.

Needless to say, there doesn't seem to be any end to how far you can go. It's basically infinite. Some games, things will eventually get all buggy and crashy when you go out too far, but not this one apparently.
ok i will try the eez again....
I like the idea of a subforum.
Also, hooking cars to objects to the side is great, they will eventually just go in circles around it.
Yeah that happened when I sat on top of a 474
Alright; having a hard time finding eastereggs at 10 fps; someone else give it a go :saddowns:
Looks like i got working texture files from the eez into the game!

just a quick yellow skin for a boat
Went out and took this while driving around on the beaches. Feel free to use it as a background or something.

Does anyone know why Panau City is so laggy?
I'll go from 60 FPS to 20 FPS and back up to 60 within a matter of 3 seconds.
i tried changing up the mvdoll angain this time changing the repack files to .eez with no luck still......
I got texture modding working, except I want to modify my DLC :(

Sorry dude. I waited for a while. You didn't show up! Things got very sad! Then I had to act before it was too late.

It does that to me to.
It can get really bad in certain parts of the city, if I face a certain direction.

Why do I feel like this is going to be the next heavily modded game, much like San Andreas was modded?
if I'm right, then the game just got awesomer.

It's been said OVER 9000 times. Extract the vehicle's EEZ file. Use smallunpack. Modify the texture you want to modify. smallpack the directory. rename from .sarc to .eez. Put in dropzone.

It really helps for most players, to cap your framerate at 30. To do so just go to your steam client, right click on Properties, then click on Set Launch options and i believe you type in "/frameratecap 30"
Let me recheck and ill post all commandline parameters that can be added to optimize your settings. :)
Edit:
/frameratecap=<target_fps>, default: disabled
/failsafe Run in failsafe mode (ignore settings)
/fullscreen Fullscreen mode
/windowed Windowed mode
/width=n Width in pixels (fullscreen/windowed)
/height=n Height in pixels (fullscreen/windowed)
/widthFS=n Width in pixels (fullscreen)
/heightFS=n Height in pixels (fullscreen)
/widthW=n Width in pixels (windowed)
/heightW=n Height in pixels (windowed)
/msaa=n MSAA sample count
/vsync=b Enable/disable V-sync
/aniso=n Anisotropic filter (0-7, default: 7)
/shadows=n Shadow quality (0-2, default: 1)
/shadowres=n Shadow resolution (0-1, default: 0)
/ssao=b Enable/disable SSAO (default: disabled)
/hbao=b Enable/disable HBAO method for SSAO (default: enabled)
/plspec=b Enable/disable pointlight specular (default: disabled)
/posteffects=b Enable/disable posteffects (default: enabled)
/lodfactor=n Geometric detail (0-3, default: 0)
/decals=b Enable/disable decals
/edgefade=b Enable/disable edge fade effect
/filmgrain=b Enable/disable film grain effect
/fovfactor=, typical values 1.0 - 2.0 Changes the field of view, default is 1.0
/dxbuffers=, default: 1
/frameratecap=, default: disabled Allows you to cap your framerate at what every value you want.
/dxadapter= Allows those with multiple GPUs to force JC2 to use a specific device.

Sorry brother.
Thanks
Since vehicle textures can be modified...
We need one of the vans in the game to have an airbrushed sexy barbarian lady on a tiger.
