Anyone figure out if VTOL planes are possible and what fields might one have to change? Love the G9, but needing a runway every time is a pain in the ass.

Does anyone know where abouts the actual displacement map used in the ingame pda map is? I can't find the proper one, only some crappy things that don't seem to work.

I'm doing something wrong, aren't I?
Drag the file onto it. It'll put the xml in the same place as the bin.
Need some help here please! Found parachute and some weapon textures in FC60DCC1.arc *Unpacked with smallunpack *Edited textures *repacked with smallpack *renamed FC50DCC1.sarc to FCD0DCC1.EEZ *placed in dropzone folder...no changes in game textures. ?
I think the only thing Rick needs to make is a EE - 3ds converter so we can port vehicles and maybe make new 'ns. ^ try just putting the SARC in there.

F60DCC1.eez is not the original filename so it wont work

Can anyone help me find the world map textures and the heightmap used for it?
well lemme just say the things im dying to edit textures of... *parachute *silverbolt plane *ricos signature guns *bullseye assault rifle if anyone can provide insight into how to do this (i know the basic stuff that has been said before such as unpacking editing ect) What i need is the original names of these to rename the dds and also dds locations
Is the dlc stuff really dlc? Like will people who couldn't preorder have the dlc cars and stuff in their files, just not usable?

Ah, I hope they release it free for us non-preorderers. Also, do you by any chance know where the heightmap is inside the files? The ones I've tried are either spiky, or really fucked up all together.
Guys, if you want to make new textures for vehicles you should really learn to add them sepparately to the game instead of editing the already existing ones, it's not that hard to make a new ee file and add the new vehicle to the blackmarket list or the world spawn list. That way we don't have conflicting skins.
Well I opened up the weathersettings.xml but see nothing that could be used to change the actual weather :saddowns:

That'd be great.[/QUOTE] Oleg of the Zmoddeler forum said he wouldn't make one and that was my best bet, he made importer/exporter for GTA4, ETS etc
Hmm, I can never export gta4 cars using open/spark iv so I guess I needed that program :v:.
Is there anything special I gotta do to complete the mission for the Reapers where you have to blow up the offshore oil rig? I get to a little over half way of having it destroyed but then there's nothing left to blow up. I've been stuck on this mission for like an hour and a half now.
Just blow up all the tanks underneath, the crane and drill.
I did. I blew up everything. There was nothing left but the civilians running around. I did die a couple of times and when I restarted and flew back out there half the shit was already blown up but it started back at 0%. Suppose the game glitched out on me?
Yeah, reload a save before you did the mission.
Aw damn... Is the mission essential to the progression of the game? Or can I beat it without completing it because I don't have a back up save. :bang:

How do you know which id to use and that it will be read? Thanks
