Word of warning. It is not perfected yet nor extensively tested as I am still tnkering. SHouldn't crash the game though. I used values based on what I thought the id's were. Also, I upped their speed to match my own as I increased the speed civi cars go when you ride them.

The code is the parameters for the hand grenade
The line in bold is the variable that sets the explosion of the weapon. It is at 20 right now which means it will have the explosion of a satchel charge (the satchel charge is bigger with blacker smoke, you can tell the difference). 35 is the default value of the grenade. So replacing that with a huge explosion would make the desired effect. If you want a explosion larger than the size of the game's native explosions you'll need to edit the actual explosion, which is obviously somewhere. I'm gonna try looking at editing it some more, then try to see if there is an explosion scaler variable (this can be proven if someone can find two things that have the same explosion but one is say, larger in scale)

ok i messed with that changed it to 500 and did some serious damage, but no explosion like you said

I assure you it works. I just extracted a fresh weapons.bin xml'd it, changed that value (35 to 20) saved it then turned it back into a bin, dropzoned it and it worked.
Changing that value to 500 wont make it bigger. It changes the effect the grenade makes when it explodes. 500 could be a wire-snapping effect, or a guy farting, you don't know.

Working on it, currently it knocks them over, and they bleed a lot, but it doesn't seem to actually do damage.
Also working on an auto-cannon pistol, and a functional upgrade system for all the new blackmarket cars.

Just using bin2xml, making no changes, then trying to use xml2bin to put it back into a bin crashes.

I am having trouble making custom billboards in the game.
I use the archiveviewer on pc0.tab
Go under global/areasets and extract general.blz
I small unpack general.blz
modify a texture in the general folder
small pack the general folder
rename general.sarc to general.blz
put it into dropzone
But the game crashes when I start it up.

I hope you guys come up with the DLC stuff and a mini nuke mod soon :v:

Thank you rck. I hope it is not too complicated to troubleshoot.
I just decided to test something else out, and deleted all the files in general.blz except for what I modded.
General asset textures in game were all missing, so at least the game is properly looking in the new general.blz for the files. Game eventually does crash too when trying this.
So something about that repack is making the game unhappy. :(
Im back, the banhammer hit me out of action for a while, but now im back, and not doing that mistake again.
Can someone tell me where the Savegamedirectory of Just Cause 2 is? I have to reinstall W7 :(
