I'm also trying to find a way to bind keys to variables, so I could set a key that alternates the current vehicle color, turn on/off vehicle damage, etc

Peace of shit rank 6 razorback...still get torn to shreds after about 30 seconds, so not fun. Need to find a way to seriously ramp up the armor values on vehicles, its a tanks ffs, it should at least prevent small arms fire, stupid machine guns xD! @ techno Oh right i see np, take ur time :)
Just a quick question for someone who doesn't own the game (but has played it). Is there any way to track (or move forward through the air) while in freefall? That's the feature that made JC1 base jumping so fun, but when I played JC2 at my friend's house I noticed you fall nearly straight down.

Heres for the guy that requested a stronger tank. The original fully upgraded seemed to survive 4 rocket launcher blasts, this new one survives around 12. It will most likely only work with fully upgraded razorback tank, and i've only breifly tested it with rockets. So no moaning please. Cant figure out how to stop visual damage from explosions etc. Anyway - let me know if u want any more of the vehicles parameters changed and i'll see what i can do.
i have been able to get vehicles to float on water. the only thing is that you still get out, but you can stunt jump on the roof just fine but when you attempt to get back in it will spit you out again. can some one help me with this. im trying to find a away to not get auto pushed out of vehicles.... either if its upside down or if its in water. if you have any idea please pm me
I tried to figure out the Model format, but after 2 hours and not-so-promising results I gave up. Then I took a look at gibbeds SVN and noticed that he figured out half of it already. So I did a rough translation of the code, added some stuff, researched a bit and wrote an exporter. Ta-dah: [IMG]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/202588/jc/render.png[/IMG] But you have to remember; this is just the bare model - no bones, no normals (3ds max guessed them), no textures (I added them manually, UV coords already get exported). Getting models back into the game is still a long way off, there are many Model subtype thingys which aren't researched yet.
