Started playing today. First mission: take dudes PDA, it tells me to open parachute. I open it and start drifting towards landing zone.
out of mission area counts down and I have to start over. I've tried it 5 different times with varied timings and no matter what it tells me I'm out of mission area. What is this shit?

I think you gotta be faily accurate, try to open your chute as late as possible,
Or get a trainer, godmode and just smack into the floor head first like a man.

you can pretty much do that in the vanilla game
I'm thinking of buying all of the DLCs now that they're on sale, got to ask though:
Are the enemies going to carry them as well?
Do I have to buy them in game?
Are they worth the money in general?

-How much are you paying for all of them? I wouldn't pay more than $10 for the whole pack of DLC, but that's just me. Cool weapons are in the packs, sure, but buying a new game would be better
I just bought this game ($15) with the Steam sale, along with some of it's DLC ($.50 to $1).
I'm downloading it right now, and im wondering what are they absolute best mods for this that will work with steam?

You're pretty much set with BOLOpatch, all mods are purely for personal preference, there really isn't anything essential

I'm playing on ps3. Is there any way i can lower black market dealer prices? like take a 0 off everything? It's insane how much the weapons and vehicles cost

I played this game at a friends house, and I asked for it for christmas, but it struck me as a Mercenaries-style game. I know Eidos did work on Mercenaries, but was it intentional? Or do we know?

There was an unofficial multiplayer mod being made at JC2's release, but it kind of disappeared after a couple months. They did manage to get multiple people in the same game though, and there are video's with proof. No NPCs iirc, but still with vehicles. It looked really awesome.

They've unfortunately put the mod on hold. :saddowns:
