You were doing it wrong. There's another small hidden exploit at the first slope of the coaster, you have to jump until you get up onto the railing ( the left hand railing, if you're facing the way the coaster goes. )
Then after that you follow it ( mind the clip that you hit ) and edge around that, until you're on the opposite side from where you climbed up, then drop down onto the crossbeams, and voila, you're on the other track in front of the tunnel.
Of course none of that matters now since it's fixed.
I tried this once, I died and lost my laser hunting rifle.
Never again.
Speaking of community campaigns, has anyone played Military Industrial Complex 2? Fucking awesome campaign. I played it with a friend last night, it's the most fun I've had played L4D2. Also the most freaked out I've ever been.
I thought Precinct 84 and Die Scraper were good.
Precinct 84 is best played on L4D1 imo.
How come not as many people play l4d1/2 from facepunch online now? There used to be a huge subforum. also where is the xbox live community gamertag thread?
Eh, the sub-forum was dead anyway.

You can't really force them to play it but their loss I guess, I fucking love the game.
If anybody likes playing L4D2 on expert (Xbox I'm afraid) then add my gamertag 'FPCypher'
If anyone wants to play in L4D2 with Barricade Builder, message me. Survival was always my favorite gamemode.
Is there a download link to all midnight riders song in a single zip?

Goddamn media tags still aren't working :saddowns:
Damn thats a nice drawing
I've only ever played L4D2 once and it made me wanna get it.
I read that co-op is done through steams match-making system? So does this mean I have to have steam to play it? Can I choose to only have match ups in a specific country as to not cause lag?
I'm a complete noob when it comes to L4D.
Yeah you have to have Steam to play it. I think the match making works with servers local to you, unless I'm mistaken there isn't a way to change that. Changing your download region in Steam settings might fix that though.
So does this mean I have to buy it through steam?
I only have steam cause I needed it to play a demo. I got no idea what else it's for.
You really should use steam, its an awesome way to play online and buy games and stuff
but yes you need to buy it through steam, and then its tied to your account forever :buddy:

No, you don't have to.

It's funny how you're being more clear with your question here than you were on steam.
I really wished that they did as the killing floor devs did and made a new difficulty to help bridge the gap between advanced and expert. Advanced feels like a joke and expert feels like I am being sodomized with a chainsaw.

L4D2 on expert is harder than L4D1 expert for me. I think it's because L4D2 has all the new special infected.

Zombies are also much more alert and Crescendos are more designed to kill you.

First time playing L4D2 " Wait a minute, we have to run during this event?! "
Why was the L4D section removed?
Why was the L4D section removed?
Because there was like 2 posts every 5 days.
And half of those were sexy stories about a fat zoey and francis pouring coffee on her face and raping her

made in 40 minutes, can someone take a look at the known bugs and help me out? The only thing I really care about is the hit sound bug.

A lot of Portal stuff is going down so, it'll get back up once something is released or we actually have something to talk about

Hi Marphy
Personally I think l4d is better than l4d2. It had more atmosphere and you felt more connected to the characters. Although it got boring with just the same weapons all the time, l4d2 overdid it.
A surefire way to spark a discussion.
Personally I love them both pretty equally. Left 4 Dead was dark, gritty and atmospheric with a great cast of characters ( whom I prefer over the Left 4 Dead 2 team. ) Where as Left 4 Dead 2 felt more vibrant and appealing.
Something about the environments in Left 4 Dead 2 just speak to me more, like they feel more realistic. The suburban neighborhood in Hard Rain, the French Quarter from The Parish, along with Dead Center, it was an urban campaign but it had a nice change to it with lots of roads and freeweays. Unlike the cliche heavily urban cities like No Mercy and Dead Air ( don't get me wrong they're both very fun campaigns. )
I think what sells it the most for me in L4D2 is the day time. I was so tired of having to play zombie games in the dark, it was a nice change of things which adds to the realistic feel I mentioned earlier. Instead of it being like " Oh it's the apocalypse? Gotta be night time. " it made it seem like it was any other day in any other city with a bit of chaos and zombies thrown in.
