Uhh, nope. I clicked Play Campaign and there were dead air games, I can also create a Lobby with Dead Air, so I'm not sure what's wrong.
Other account.
Definitely. Dead Air is considered one of the best L4D campaigns, along with Death Toll and No Mercy.
(Fuck Blood Harvest).
I've always considered No Mercy and Blood Harvest to be the best, with Dead Air and Death Toll after that.
Wow, I was playing with some people and then we were almost done then they quit.
why are the l4d1 survivors so silent?
It does the same thing with No Mercy and The Sacrifice occasionally. My guess is that since the L4D1 Survivors in L4D2 are just reskins/remodels of the L4D2 Survivors and turned into separate characters, something might have fucked up the voice commands, which is why they usually don't taunt or use the "Look!" command when you tell them to.
I don't like how they used L4D2's zombies since they don't fit the Dead Air theme. I mean really why would you find so many shirtless zombies in an office?

They were all in for enhanced screening, of course.

Haha nice avvy combo.
Oh man the bots can never cross the little plank right outside the greenhouse when I play with them.
Oh man the bots can never cross the little plank right outside the greenhouse when I play with them.
I remember that in the original L4D
Anyone else having issues with crashes and mostly soundless menus?
I remember that in the original L4D
"Everything is going according to plan."
"AAAARRRRRRGGGGG"
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA"
Ever since the update, L4D2 crashes whenever I load a campaign. Anyone else having this issue? I verified my GCF and it still does this.
"Everything is going according to plan."

Everything is fine.
Bill thinks he can jump the wee gap between the buildings.
"WOOOOAAAAHH! HELP!"
Louis goes to save him.
"AHHH! I NEED HELP!"
Zoey is the only one careful enough to try to safe them, but then her foot slips and she drops into the crack too.
"GUYS I NEED SOME HELP!"
So then I have to run over and save all three of their dumb asses.
So how about how fucking loud the plane was.
Jesus.
There's nothing that needs to be fixed. It used the L4D2 theme in the saferoom music and intro because it takes place down with the L4D2 survivors, the horde music is from L4D1 though. Even in L4D2 though, it used L4D2 music, I don't see how it's broke or needs to be fixed.
But the fact that No Mercy's music is in L4D2 and they used L4D2 music is just dumb.
Just because it takes place there is no excuse. The L4D1 version has normal music so it's dumb. If there's any possible way to fix it clientside then I am interested.
I'm surprised that added some of the lines that were originally removed.
Call me late though, I haven't played it in a long time.
I don't like that they replaced the M134 with the M2 though, the M134 was better (unless they buffed the damage by like x3 or something).
Sorta off topic, does anyone have a link to that mod that swaps the M16A2 and the SCAR?

I swear it sounds different now. It has a much deeper pitch.

Oh, and they need to fix the texture on the crashing airplane:

Also this. I miss the Business / Police / Army / TSA Zombies.
Nothing else screams "shit's fucked up" like having Zombies in Police and Military uniforms.
Since this is only beta I think they're going to change the music and the zombie spawns as long as people speak up.

I think they're parked in the pause menu or something I dunno.
You could always take a cab to SPUF and whine about it there.

Here's the thread. The download links are there.

That's because the campaign isn't using the DeadAir Music Post-Fix String which I don't think is in the FGD files yet

I couldn't see a Report Bug in the menu since I tried out the beta Cold Stream and found a bug with the particle effects, so I went to the Developer Console and typed in "bug" and wrote (I don't think it came to Valve though, but I don't want to have to use the Steam Forums. E-mail could help, but WHO should we mail to?)
Actually, there's no bug reporting in L4D2.
SPUF is L4D2's bug reporting ( :( ).
Actually, there's no bug reporting in L4D2.
SPUF is L4D2's bug reporting ( :( ).
See, when Valve updated Left 4 Dead 2 with the very first version of Cold Shit, they said they added a bug report system.
They didn't tell us that it was SPUF.
[editline]23rd July 2011[/editline]
Also, I'm playing through the Dead Air beta right now, and I need to know, are there any defibrillators in this campaign or are they as scarce (And by that I mean a 0.00000001% chance of spawning) as they were in No Mercy and The Sacrifice in L4D2?

They really should've, or at least add a feature like TF2's.
Now, I think Valve does look across the board besides just SPUF - kind of like Tripwire - but SPUF is the quickest way to make them aware of something. Unfortunately.
Well, I found a defibrillator in Dead Air.
