I just tried to play Healing Gnome on No Mercy. Went through three tries, all were fails.
1. Gnome got lost through the elevator floor and we ended up killing ourselves.
2. Got the Gnome into the elevator, but the elevator glitched and the door was stuck shut.
3. Restarted the campaign since a guy was stuck in a rescue closet, and got to the subways before some idiot threw the gnome over a barrier in one of the side subway tunnels.
Great. :geno:

Fuck off, Gnome Chompski.
And Halo 1.
Halo 2 was the first Halo title you could see your legs in first person. Anything they managed in Custom Edition, or mods for the base game, don't count.

Hm, I remember looking down and seeing feet.

Custom Edition?
[del]Microsoft/Bungie[/del]Gearbox released a 'custom edition' alongside the PC version of Halo, which was very open to mods. It had considerably fewer players and servers, some slight changes to default gameplay, and as I recall you couldn't play the campaign with it, but it was much easier to mod than Halo was. Halo was a bitch to mod, it was pretty much pulling teeth to do anything significant in it.

Back when Bungie respected PC gaming, right?

Maximum realism level reached.

Actually, Gearbox did the Custom Edition.

Did they? Hm. I do remember seeing Gearbox having something do with Halo PC back then, but I guess it's been so long I just didn't make the connection.
Zellis... I see what they did there, they combined Zoey and Ellis' name! Hm... that's sounds so stupid
I wish there was a :suicide: using :geno: and not :v:
they finally fixed the silence of coach and ellis when nick died
Anyone feel up for a game?
As long as you're in the US, and are a competent player, anyone can join! :v:
(L4D2, btw)

That's me in a nutshell.
The part about the lemming players was funny :v:
[editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
Played L4D2 today for the first time in months and thought thatmaybe I could have a good time.
I join a No Mercy game and there's these two eight year olds screaming into their mics and ignoring me dying.
Then I switch games and there's a griefer who keeps trying to kill me. (I ended up killing him, then he left)
Then ANOTHER game we're playing Dead Air and everyone votes to switch to Hard Rain, and I HATE Hard Rain :suicide:
I give up.

Welp, your post counters that quote. :v:
It's hard to think of Zoey and Ellis as a couple since they met for a grand total of 11 minutes and said at most 1 complete sentence, probably never even getting a good look at each other.

Ellis obviously doesn't meet girls often.

Reminds of the time I joined a game and a griefer killed everybody, then he died in less than a minute, we spawn, I grabbed a spas and killed him, after doing this he ragequitted, and the two other guys left :v:

They just wouldn't work out in my mind.
I had a little suggestion floating around in my head for quite some time and wanted to hear your opinions.
When a Hunter pounces a Survivor from a close Distance I imagine it to be quite powerful and in my opinion it looks odd if the survivor just falls to the ground and stays on the same position. Instead, what if the Hunter would knock the Survivor hes pouncing back? It would enable the Hunter to "Deathpounce", like knocking Survivors off high buildings or cliffs.
Like this: http://uppix.com/f-Deathpounce4e628e33000cfdcd.jpg
This would only happen when the Hunter almost is directly in front of the Survivor he wants to attack. It wouldnt knock away anybody else though so the other survivors wont get shoved away by the Hunters jump if they are standing near the pounced victim.
The animation would look like the Hunter is "hugging" the survivor during the jump much like in the preview image posted above. The Drawback would be that the Hunter wont do any damage during the knockback animation. He wont start immediatly clawing at the victim like he does now.
If the Hunter jumps from a far distance or from above, nothing happens.
So it would be:
Pros:
Enables Death Pounces
Would be able to knock the Survivors into danger
Cons:
Doesnt immediatly start clawing at the victim so less damage is done
So what do you say? Any suggestions/improvements?
