I had a little suggestion floating around in my head for quite some time and wanted to hear your opinions. When a Hunter pounces a Survivor from a close Distance I imagine it to be quite powerful and in my opinion it looks odd if the survivor just falls to the ground and stays on the same position. Instead, what if the Hunter would knock the Survivor hes pouncing back? It would enable the Hunter to "Deathpounce", like knocking Survivors off high buildings or cliffs. Like this: http://uppix.com/f-Deathpounce4e628e33000cfdcd.jpg This would only happen when the Hunter almost is directly in front of the Survivor he wants to attack. It wouldnt knock away anybody else though so the other survivors wont get shoved away by the Hunters jump if they are standing near the pounced victim. The animation would look like the Hunter is "hugging" the survivor during the jump much like in the preview image posted above. The Drawback would be that the Hunter wont do any damage during the knockback animation. He wont start immediatly clawing at the victim like he does now. If the Hunter jumps from a far distance or from above, nothing happens. So it would be: Pros: Enables Death Pounces Would be able to knock the Survivors into danger Cons: Doesnt immediatly start clawing at the victim so less damage is done So what do you say? Any suggestions/improvements?
I wish Valve would put some more effort into L4D2.

I'm that guy who always holds onto a defib or medkit and will use it on a guy with low hp/is dead instead of himself.

Just found this. It's a series of videos about "LonelyZoey19". Warning: It's kind of annoying actually.

Not sure if I'd hit it or not.
Why isn't everyone I play l4d an asshole? I decided to try playing l4d again after not playing in 6 months and it was terrible. My team rushes and leaves me behind when I was saving their ass. Then on the 4 level of da, one player just shoots me to low hp, so I return fire and get kicked. I decide to add them to have a chat. Some guy attempts to troll me telling me that I'm mad but I'm not. This is what I expect from the l4d community. He called me an angry super nerd. I told him that If I wanted to have fun, I'd play tf2, and that people like him are what ruins l4d.
Back to playing L4D2, and in the Barns, I killed loads of zombies there. Went to the saferoom, and then I started hearing a familiar music play. Then I noticed that it said "Tank incapacitated (my Steam name)." A MOTHERFUCKING TANK WAS IN THE SAFEROOM. I knew that can happen, but I never thought it would happen to me. Around 2-3 people were incapped(including me), and we still won.
For those of you big into weapons, I've decided to port a few popular mods originally for the first L4D to L4D2 (by popular request): Remington 870 Wingmaster DOWNLOAD: gamebanana l4dmaps.com M4A1 Rifle Replacement DOWNLOAD: gamebanana l4dmaps.com
Please can you port also the original m1911 pistols?
People have tried. Someone did it, at one point, but one of the (many) mod killing patches that Valve released for L4D2 broke them, and he couldn't get them to work again.

You should embed the original upload from the actual author: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncq7PLB6kk0 Unless you're the "5th grader who loves animating on animation sites" who posted the reupload of this and apparently dozens of other videos while claiming original ownership on all of them. If so, then carry on.

Staying up 'till 4AM joining VS lobbies one after another. I also remember seeing these videos a while back of a team of organized players versus a band of rage proof chaps in an alltalk server. With the magic of external voice chat programs the other team remains unaware that alltalk is enabled.

Holy fuck made me jump.
In all the VS games I played on Cold Stream, not once did I see the survivors make it to the saferoom. The farthest they got on Map 1 was a single guy in the safe room, after the others were killed and separated by the crescendo+point of no return combination right in front of the safe room (which is really cheap). On Map 2, a lot of the deaths were caused by the giant rock being slugged around by a tank (the thing is the largest hittable prop in the game, almost as big as 3 cars). The farthest I've seen a group get here is to the currents in the sewer. Now Map 3, Map 3 is a pain in the rear for sure. As soon as the survivors get to the surface, there's a death charge spot right in their path, though it isn't used as much as you'd think. Past that, is a large flight of stairs, with another drop-off about halfway for smokers/jockeys/chargers to send survivors back down. If they don't get murdered on the way up by a spitter combo, they'll be met by another small death charge spot nearby (at this point there's almost as many spots to get charged off as the bridge finale). In my experience though, the farthest I've seen a group get is around the midpoint of the bridge. Lastly, Map 4. This Finale is a bit odd compared to most others (it's most related to the Bridge Finale, in the fact you have to run a lot). Though what happens here is that once you drop back into the creek, you'll be met by an endless horde, and a tank once you drop down at the waterfall (note that the drop into the creek AND the drop into the waterfall are both points of no return). Most teams usually get slaughtered as at the waterfall, you're nearly cornered as the tank wields a log capable of ending everyone. If they were fortunate enough to slay him and progress, they'll have to progress through the narrow sewer and to the gauntlet. The farthest I've ever seen the survivors get is a few feet from the stairs to the chopper. tl;dr Cold Stream in VS is pretty much impossible
