Rating minecraft in this way is like rating a blank piece of paper - It only gets unsuitable when it is used inappropriately.
E10+ for sure. Scribblenauts basically has the same content (killing animals and humans, monsters, weapons) and it got E10.

m for mature... Reason is that we don't want some little kids spamming messages and whining on the forums 'cause we wouldn't give them a diamond pickaxe after they fell in lava and lost 'alot of diamond stuff (armor, tools, etc... it varies between kids)' even though they don't even have a base setup but most likely have been griefing and trying to steal other's resources...
