I have the game case, lost my CDs :(
Demo doesn't work
what are you talking about? no you didn't, i'm pretty sure you're lying - this would never happen buying black market equipment is not useless either, buy as much as you can in bulk and train it to elite and you will own if you want to own in this game, train all your army to elite, personally i don't bother with aircraft as they die too easily and are too expensive to maintain but build them if you feel the need sign common markets (there are rules against this online) with countries who have a huge population but produce very little resources but require much more, this will make your economy go crazy. This won't work against china, because their economy is nationalised
You should probably at least try to question what I said before you call me a liar, thanks. If you aren't an idiot you can research faster than any country in the game. Buy the entire lot of black market equipment and then invade a neighboring country (just to test it's strength) then play for about an hour researching, make your force 2x as small, and do the same thing and you can most likely beat the shitty coalition that they send in. By the fact that you buy black market equipment as opposed to making your own, I can tell you aren't used to having a small concise military and that's why you jumped the gun. Having about 200 sherman tanks does not compare to having 1 abrams.
Ultraprotip: Attack Unpopular countries. ie: Somalia and afganistan iraq ect. Gain territory quickly, fast forward, build stuff, get nukes, strengthen economy
It's morally grey, the problem is determining if it really is abandonware or not.
Well, you think "warez" is a crime, so.... Even though it's not.
how do you strengthen your economy? my resources is always in the negative (playing germany, i just end up taxing the shit out of my population to make money) also my game randomly crashes 30 minutes in. it seems it that it happens when a click on something

Is this game as CPU demanding as HoI3?
No.
I still can't play it on W7. Even in compat mode.

My spies keep getting caught doing that, and i only send elite ones. also noone will sign any common market agreements.
How do you find a country's alliances? I can only find them after I declare war on them in the War List, and at that point I've already figured out my mistake by all the red tanks appearing across the world heading for my capital. [editline]07:31PM[/editline] The interface on this game is shitty shit :(
This looks indeed very interesting and could be an awesome game. I like these large scale RTS, but often these games are hard and the interface is not well build. It's this game hard? Looks like a lot of management. World maps looks great :buddy:
Played this for a while, got confused, stopped playing.
Okay, that should explain everything.

It's it unorganized or just terrible skins?
My spies keep getting caught doing that, and i only send elite ones. also noone will sign any common market agreements.
your spies are probably getting caught because you are not using the "low" option.. on the intensity of the espionage, i think and for common markets, you need a relation of at least +20 with the target country
It's it unorganized or just terrible skins?
Unorganized as fuck.
you should probably mention the mods OP http://www.superpower2.co.uk/full-mods.html game is way better with mods
here's a "cheat" you can get the USA to assume your debt if: your relations are at least 90 (Canada and the UK) the USA is making a profit and not losing money this is best used in conjunction with investing money into your economy
Must... play as... Iran... Must... Nuke... America... [editline]09:48AM[/editline]
That's strange, i'm using it on Windows 7 right now. protip: don't attack china with nukes cause they launch so many back the game crashes :crying:
Because that's what would happen in real life.
This was a semi-fun game. The AI really made it horrible- completely lacking, and retarded (Tsunamis in Nebraska, for example). This game could've been amazingly awesome, but the lack of support and underdeveloped AI made it a sub-par game. I satill have it, and from time to time (when extra bored) I might fire it up.
Just re-installed this game, what mod should I get from the major mods list? I was thinking "Earth" or "Realism"
I think I killed the thread.:downs:
Hey, I remember this game being a lot of fun and i'm bumping this thread to see if I can get some people together to play this as a group over virtual lan (i.e. Hamachi or equivalent) and I think more people should know about it.
It's on greenlight and ready to go, just needs more votes. I have no idea how to get it working with seven.
It's on greenlight and ready to go, just needs more votes. I have no idea how to get it working with seven.
Works fine for me on Windows 8. I think you have to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP.
Whenever I try to run it, it says. Joshua.exe has stopped working.
