You gain experience by getting/upgrading badges. well I think that's the only way to get experience, I may be wrong.

Lies. My alt account has 1 dollar spent on it and it still has 5 drops. 1 dropped already.
So you can get tf2 drops as long as you're premium, or does it work for f2p accs as well?
And is it steam premium or tf2 premium, since it makes all the difference in the world.

I wish you could change what achievements are displayed in the achievement showcase. It just automatically displays the rarest achievements you have.

TF2 unusuals have been doing this for quite a while, it wouldn't surprise me that there are people willing to spend over 200 bucks for a Steam profile badge.

I really doubt that somebody wants 200 bucks for a steam profile.
Reason why I sell my cards, is that nobody checks profiles really expect to check inventory.
But then again...
