I'd prefer weekly, but monthly might be more in line with Valve's goal of making some money on sweet, sweet community market fees.
Patient players can wait a month, impatient players take the plunge on the Community Market. But everyone gets a chance to craft a badge without taking the opportunity away from someone else.
Could somebody send me an invite if they are willing to give one away, please?

I'm probably really late on this, but I'd kill to see some Binding of Isaac cards.
I wasn't sure what to do with my cards at first but once I found out I can sell them on the Steam Market I fired up HL2 and started playing. Already earned 2 dollars from this in like an hour. I'm not even gonna bother collecting them. :v:

Wouldn't it be better if you can just earn all of them instead of having to go through the trouble of finding and potentially having to buy them? I don't like how they're doing this at the moment, but it's a beta and I hope they add a better way of obtaining these cards than what they have now. They're effectively pushing people to buy stuff off of the market, because I know that most people would rather not trade these cards unless they manage to get duplicates.

I made 10 dollars between selling the invites and some tf2/dota 2 cards the first week
I bought a hat from Dota 2 Store and I still don't get any card drops

you won't, its not like TF2, that you can get premium buying an item...
you will only get 1 drop for dota2 if you spend $9 at the dota2 store, only people who bought something BEFORE the trading card beta got the 4 drop cards
Just crafted my last dota 2 badge and got a Crystal Maiden & Lina background. Not sure if I should sell it or keep it.

I'm not getting a single Dota card drop through playing the game frequently since cards were announced, yet after like 15 minutes of classic comp CS:GO I find an IDF card. What's with this system?
Are you sure you spend cash BEFORE the update because if you didn't you need to pay 9 euro/dollar for every drop in Dota 2
