I believe you just have to be active on Steam and you'll randomly get booster packs.

Booster packs usually sell more than 3 cards seperately, but there's always the chance at foil cards of course (I just sell the booster packs since I don't want to gamble for a foil card).

Yeah, I sold the booster pack for £1.20 in the end, which is a lot better than 3 normal cards.

Well the drop rate does go up the higher level you are, so more people crafting badges means more booster drops.
