If you go to your friends list it also tells you what the Friend Cap Limit is for you.

The higher level you are the more friends you can add, Mine is at 350 so far.

I've made around $10 selling cards after I got my full HL2 set.
I don't usually use the market, but this is pretty awesome, because after bills, I don't usually have any money for games.
I think I'm gonna hold on to this until the next steam sale.
