I'm spending the 40m I have left on 99 Mage/Smithing so y'know.
I've kept the nice things like full Guthan's, a whip, a fury etc. though, so I can get back to Slayer when I want.

Guthans is more efficient.
I use bunyips too. But I don't like food, and sometimes monsters kill you faster than bunyip can unkill you, so I keep guthan's. And it's fairly good armour.

1.bunyip requires 68 summoning, therefore a lot of charms, and therefore a lot of killing before achieving it
2. soul split drains prayer like crazy, not to mention 92 prayer will scu kyou out of all your money
3.dragon claws are really expensive for a mediocre weapon (based on raw strength)

Aye, it does beat guthan's for sure. But I am spending all my money on Smithing and Mage, and only have 77 Prayer. One day though. :D
In other news.. Today has been such a badass day, and even my bot decided to work all day, so I'm pretty happy. Feels good man.

1. Bunyip takes a couple of days to get.
2. You Soul Split for special attacks. Use Prayer bonus gear.
3. Mediocre? Best specc wep for Slayer and training in general.

It takes a couple of days to get [i]if[/i] you bot, but you'll realize that if you actually spend your time farming some type of charm that getting to level 68 summoning from level 1 Summoning will actually take around 2 weeks or a month, depending on how much effort you put into farming the charms.
2. Fair enough, but getting 92 prayer and completing a chain of quests takes way too much effort.
3. Dragon Claws aren't really the best spec wep for Slayer and training, i would say that it's better to use some one handed chaotic weapon/ a whip in combination with the Saradomin Godsword, using a Saradomin Godsword along with a bunyip, which is much cheaper and still effective.
Getting 92 prayer is really expensive, perhaps it's around 200m or such, while a saradomin godsword only costs 25m currently.
That, and completing like 4-6 quests, each needing good skills to get the Ancient Curses prayer tree will need a lot of effort.

3. I use the Chaotic Rapier / Dragon Defender with Dragon Claw special. Have fun speccing Whip on a Slayer task and Rapier on a Slayer task lmao.

2. Don't forget the skills and the level requirements you need for the quests, you'll have to spend even more to get those up.
3. When did i say i was going to use the whip special attack on a Slayer task?
I was saying that you could use perhaps, a whip and a dragon defender, and just having a Saradomin Godsword in your inventory, because the special on it is by far much better for Slayer than the Dragon Claws, in my opinion.
And i don't waste my special on a slayer task, i simply use the special on a Dragon Dagger (p++) because i can't afford a Saradomin Godsword at the moment.
