Yeah, unless they've slowly been recording everyone's names and getting ready to ban them.
Jagex has constantly been changing their methods to stop botters, but botting is the one form of cheating that still goes on. In a month after this 'revolutionary' change, they'll still have botters, coders change their ways.
It really depends on how they handle it. In theory reflection is dead, but if they only randomise the ids like once a week the bot makers will just update once a week.

I don't think this means anything. Reflection bots would have stopped already, unless they mean they have a backlog they're going to ban all at once.
I'll be glad when bots are gone, finally the game can return to something decent. And if you want to grind you can just use RiD like the cool kids (me).
