Alright I understand this is to be expected in the runescape thread but can't you just ignore it instead of crying and rating dumb?
Skyrim is £35 and off one random google result, 60M is selling for £28. Plus the hours required to actually get the stats and quests items and whatever else.
The account name is also nice.

Clearly worth it.
One satisfied customer went away with a month of membership.
Does Jagex really have any grounds to sue for 2,500 dollars per act of botting? Somehow A. I don't think that would go down well in court and B. I don't think the 100,000 dollars in attorney would be worth the 2,500 dollars they would win. In fact, I don't think most attorneys would take that case if they were going to be making so little money
Um, I see nobody crying, they just told you why you wouldn't get Skyrim for your acc, and we're rating dumb because you're expecting people to buy something for way more than it's worth.

Selling the 60M is about 30$, considering its your first time selling the RSGP and your not trusted. Or you could go to Gold4Rs or something and get something like 20$ for it. The account is worth a little, not a lot considering 94 Magic is nothing, costs probably about 5-10 million MAX. Before the 'bot nuke' you could make money on magic, might the same now I do not know. You should just get out of the thread considering you do not have a clue what your talking about.

Botting does not infringe on Copyright.

So what you're saying is - "Skyrim is $50, your money is worth $30 one skill is worth around $10. Your account is worth almost nothing."
I haven't told you anything for the sole purpose of not getting it banned and you're basing all your silly little argument off it, rating me dumb and trying to discourage people from buying it?
What's your game and why do this? I understand you're probably young but just chill out.

Botting does not infringe on Copyright.
It's not necessarily copyright infringement, the DMCA also states that employees and officials belonging to a company are within their rights to pursue those who partake in the production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures (commonly known as digital rights management or DRM) that control access to copyrighted works. The problem with that is that botting doesn't allow any more access to the game than playing legitimately, without bots. In addition, as you said, there are no grounds to sue somebody for botting in the sense that it is a copyright violation, because botting does not infringe on copyright. Furthermore, the lawsuit is still pending, so I think jagex should hold their tongue either until the lawsuit is accepted by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, or unless they specify valid grounds for this empty threat, other than the perceived notion that it is "destroying their game." Boo-hoo, cry some more jagex, I'm sorry that the hundreds of thousands of extra dollars per year that bots bring to you when you ban their accounts and they create new ones isn't enough.

runescape homepage go to account then account management and you will be able to see your blackmarks and stuff and you can refute their claim and they may accept
I looked there, noted that I'm in the green zone and will be unmuted in a day. Nothing else.

Update: The latest version of RSBuddy is now running with limited functionality. The effects of 'cluster flutterer' have been mostly reversed by my 'cluster aggregator' software, however I'm still rebuilding our updating software with my new libraries and working on nondeterministic utilities to speed up any future updates. I may be releasing a release candidate version of RSBuddy shortly so that people can get a clear feel for the progress, however there's still a lot of boring stuff to do before we're fully functional. As I'm extremely busy I may be delegating some tasks to other developers by writing new structured libraries so that you don't have to wait for too many more days.

Neat :v:
I got the ibot lawsuit letter on my ingame messages. I've only ever bought Perfect Fighter for another account, he must have sold out.
[editline]27th October 2011[/editline]
As suggested through the thread, Jagex-Going-Hard-On-Botters!-E-Mails-Sent-Out-To-iBot-Users. Me and 3 of my friends have confirmed that either Mark Snellman himself or someone from the support section of impsoft provided the e-mails/paypal data of all purchases from iBot/Nexus auth sites.
I have several runescape related e-mail accounts that have been religiously botting with nexus software since their creation. Of these, only one e-mail received the lawsuit threat message and was coincidentally my paypal accounts e-mail. I double checked by having my friends do similar checks and the result was confirmed. The scare letters were only sent out to paypal emails that had been used to purchase impsoft bots.
At first, I thought it may have been RsBuddy, but I found that my RsBuddy connected e-mail did not receive such a message. It's pretty sad that impsoft would do such a thing, and I'm pretty sure I did not agree to impsoft redistributing my payment details, but with that being said, all Jagex knows is that we purchased bots. They have no evidence of which names we used them on. This lawsuit thing is just a scare and was executed with the help of impsoft.
I will never trust Nexus again if they find a way around the nuke. If anyone has evidence disproving my investigations I'd like to see it.
