It's mainly used by pures with 1 defense. Elemental Workshop III requires 33 defense bare minimum, and completion of it is needed to equip body equipment and up. Logically, this means that defpures have to settle for mind equipment.

Does anyone know a fairly easy to kill monster that drop clue scrolls often?
helhounds drop them quite often as they have almost no other drops
i remember getting 3 potentional clues in one hellhounds slayer task
So I haven't played on my account for very long, all I have levelled is mining and smithing so far. Do you think it would be worth it to buy member now, or wait until I have some other skills levelled?

Hellhounds are also a bitch to reach while still having enough space to rest and heal.

So I was doing TT and I was going to have to kill a Saradomin whatever guy, so I knew I ought to stock up well. I brought 2 full super anti poison potions, runes for a quick escape and a bunch of sharks, ready to take this guy down.
I didn't expect it to be an easy fight, but I killed him without using any food and only taking 1 sip of the anti poison after his first hit which poisoned me.
I guess I've been overestimating these guys potential quite the bit.
