Well to answer your second question it depends on what you're planning on doing with it. It's not that great for fm exp because it only incinerates 1/3 of the logs you cut which at the same time can be quite undesirable when you're at magics or yews. If you were just looking to train wc and didn't really care about profit i'd recommend it because it would just boost your total exp rate per hour.

What Rampage said is BS, it doesn't take 5 minutes. You have to load up every Pyre before you light it, which requires constant banking back and forward. Then you have to run and light them within around 7 minutes. So it takes about 2 hours.
It's worth it for a free Dragon hatchet I'd say, if you see yourself cutting ivy any time soon. It's a fairly useful pick aswell, and a status symbol.

because if you're hosting 55x2, and the guy gets UNDER 55, you win the money. if you're playing, and you get ABOVE 55, you win.
under 55 is a LOT better chance than above.
So I decided to do a level 3 TT yesterday.
The rewards didn't even cover the cost of the food and runes spent.
And shit that I had to buy for the emote ones.
