I'm considering getting back into RS.
I made my account fucking ages ago, played mostly as a freebie. At one point I revisited the game and played as a member for one or two months, but that was a while back and I haven't played since.
What's the deal with botting? I literally never used any third-party programs and I'm a little curious as to how botting affects the game. Has it reached the point where you basically require a bot to get anywhere skillwise?
Also, checking my old acc's stats and equipment, I have full rune armor, a dragonstone ring, poisoned d dagger, a bunch of mid-low shit in the bank including an asston of farming seeds, and my highest skills are 60 str and atk.

okay so I just logged in and I got a task, what is a task
and why is my menu button list on the bottom horizontally
what's a dungeoneering skill and why does it go past 99
and why are the graphics so not shitty
why are the health bars round

Ignore the task thing, it's redundant
It sounds like you're playing it full screen, you can change the settings to change it back to how it used to look if you like
Dungeoneering... If you ever played a zelda game, imagine the skill to be like the Dungeons from it, where you basically have to get from the beginning, kill the enemies, get to the end, kill the boss get XP, go down a floor. Goes to 120 because there was too much content (floor archetypes, bosses etc) to fit in a 99 skill
We've had the graphics updated several times (the trees on high detail look pretty cool). You can still change it back at any time

I spent a little while playing it and I have to admit it's pretty damn fun.
Also, how long has RS had guilds/clans anyway?
On an unrelated note I tried out rsbuddy on a new char, since all the cool kids seem to be using it, and I have to say I'm impressed. Not sure if I'll be running it with my main though.

Awh yeah. Should be 83 Agility by midnight. Then I'll hopefully get 85 tomorrow, then I can start on the gnome course. 15k extra experience/hour will be very nice. I'll be getting ~960k xp a day if my calculations are correct :v:.

Mo and Glitch are now Deputy Owner, Whittall is Overseer. Deputy Owners can modify the citadel in case I cannot. Let's get this shit running off the ground now! :pumped:
