I don't think that's necessary. All we should need is someone who can both follow instructions and not be afraid take the initiative. I feel we'll need a good amount of people, but that some will be cut out of the loop when in fact they just needed some direction and someone to tell them what to build. After all, if we get good leadership and a good plan of action, all we need is someone capable of following that plan.

Yeah, I also don't have much to show because
1. I usually play survival so the material is scarce so I can't always build big things
2. I often like to build rather modern things such as industrial factories and trailers/motorhomes.

The leader would be the one putting out instructions. The whole point of having a leader, duel-leadership, or a triumvirate is to give a base of power so that arguments about texture packs all the way to design decisions can be made without a mass amount of democracy interrupting those decisions.

There would be a lot of people who'd argue there work is good, or they build well. Words can only go so far though, and pictures and actual representation of someone's skills go a lot farther. In addition, the whole point of what you guys want to do is something medieval. Why put someone who builds modern French architecture, spaceships, or who does build medieval, but only on a very small scale in charge of a medieval building project that will contain very large construction projects as mere parts to the whole.

I was hoping mostly that I'd be able to join up, see how most other people do it and what they use for their inspiration, then copy the same style for my own buildings. I sadly have not done a lot of medieval things, simply because I've never been inspired to do it.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at. One or several persons make the big choices, everybody else follows them. You don't have to be good at building to follow instructions, which is why builders in real life aren't mathemeticians and don't make up the architecture of their project.
Okay instead of taking useless time to pick a leader with me sitting alone in the damn server, I'll take the reigns. I'm putting rasta in charge of keeping things in check, Inacio in charge of keeping things sexy, laserpanda is hes willing in charge of planning, camper in charge of city walls and streets, and the rest of you on whatever it is I can see you doing the best at. PM me pics and what not, or anything that you feel you're best at, get in the server and we'll consult your designs.

My second is that we widen the river a little bit, fix surrounding lands for city making and start building the walls that protect the city from the river. We do NOT build the city walls yet, that is the last thing. These cities were built along rivers and expanded outward so thats how we're doing it.
