When I think of poor people living in medieval settings, I always think of old swedish movies with farmer families living cramped and in debt, but not neccesarily in houses that just looks like shacks.
Can we have more real life examples of what you guys want.

We're going for something close to a Medieval version of this:

Close, cramped, small housing, broken everything. Different in the fact that its wood and has more multistory homes, but the same economic level. The multistory homes should be a house on top of a house, for separate families

Poor areas are hard to make in minecraft since you can't have shitty thin walls or decent shapes other than squares in a small area.

It'll consist mostly of stone brick/cobble/smooth stone. Although it needs to be architecturally beautiful, so we'll be restrictive of who works on it. Others may work on different parts of the city, like the harbor.

That's why its important that we build things in irregular shapes and sizes, and then also make things stick out randomly and give the city a broken look. That's why we need to make the gravel paths really crappy, so that the architecture is forced to adapt to the path.
I think we should move on to the rich people's district, because building a ton of buildings that looks like the shit new people build on their first day of survival is really fucking boring as a theme. Really, why the fuck should everyone be building on this shitty poor district while other people are building things like giant ships and construction cranes :v:

I support this, but we need to make sure that we have multiple people agreeing on where the borders of the district are. Then agreeing on inner wall style and things like that.The upper district should be elevated and very ordered in my opinion, meaning we should get an admin or two on before we do it.

I think we should wait for a day or two, and then set up a specific time for everyone to be on. I just popped into the server and no one was there, so I didn't want to mess with anything.

Did quite a bit of work on the wealthy wall, I think its nearly done, besides where that wall connects to the ocean/other wall. Also an incredibly grand door is needed
