steam bans for that, you'll get the account back after a nice support ticket with proof of ownership.

really? how is it any different if I visited poland and logged into my account from a computer from there (from a computer belonging to said friend)?
How can they differentiate?
Hell I was account swapping with said friend a while back, logged into her steam from my computer in the US, and she logged into my steam from her computer in Poland...
I got earbuds for ~10 people when the mac TF2 update was released, just by logging into their accounts from a mac into their steam account and launching TF2.
