Vindictus (aka Mabinogi Heroes) - Games

December 1st is the next big update for the game. Can't wait!

You are just mad because you choose the much lamer West server.

The only thing keeping me from playing this game is how difficult it is to get ANYTHING. And isn't the level cap going to be past 100? I don't want to be grinding for sets of armor and points for that god damn long. Maybe they will make it so we level faster and get items easier once the level cap raises, but for now the grind is keeping me away from what would otherwise be a great MMO.

Though it seems every so many levels some NPCs offer you a armor set of some kind.

I have 1 million gold, I could buy anything I want, and I only just started playing like a week and a half ago. The fun in a game like this is gradually getting a more powerful character. If you could just get a lvl 100 character in an hour, the game wouldn't be fun. Are you trying to get all the best armor the second its available? Because in my opinion, its better to just wait it out, do the missions and get the materials you need. Yeah, if you're in a rush to constantly have the best armor at all times, then this game might be frustrating, but there's no reason to do that since you get the materials you need by just playing the game anyway, and are constantly unlocking better armor crafts. And the next level armor wouldn't even offer an enormous bonus... I do lots of runs without wearing armor so I don't have to repair afterward, and I do just as well as my teammates.

But these are just opinions.

But this can be said about almost any other MMO I have tried. They have these awesome features about it but there is [b]always[/b] a part of it that irritates me to no end.

You do realize the point of the system is so that the level you are currently up to in the story is actually challenging, right? If you were a level 30, you'd be solo-killing the boss characters in literally 10 seconds. Instead you start at a low level so that its actually fun/challenging to kill them. And all through the game you keep getting matched with bosses that are meant for your current level. That's just how these games work. It allows you to go back and have fun destroying bosses in 10 seconds and helping new players, but makes your current storyline boss somewhat challenging.

I think the reason I love this game is because it reminds me of the old Xbox Lord of the Rings games or might of been PS2. Where you and a friend can co-op and do combos. I guess I just love a good ole' Hack & Slash. The one thing I dislike most is how fast you run out of Tokens.

eh, 22 runs every 2 days, the later dungeons can take 10-15 minutes each run, that's enough gameplay for me
