Yeah, I never understood why they made you go to the website, needless waste of time.
I hate launching games from a web browser unless it's directly embedded into the website.
I hate launching games from a web browser unless it's directly embedded into the website.
You can launch the game directly from the desktop. Just make a shortcut to the exe. It will prompt for your username and password in-game.
I know. It's just that more and more games are starting to make it so that you can't do that.
Pretty fun game, would be nice if I could run it through wine since windows hates my guts.
I'm a level 16 Lann. Got that silly looking Crimson Rage set. Game's fun, but I really would like to group up with some competent people. Name's Carth, east siiide. Also, anyone else get the bug where missions will refuse to grant BP? It just says +0 BP. Which sucks, as I only need 5 more for a mission to move up, but it decides I don't deserve BP or something.

You only get the BP once from each mission/oath. [editline]24th November 2010[/editline]
how did you get 1 million? You must share your tips
I play a bunch. Each Blood Prince run gives over 16k gold, plus potential Silver Ore (instant 25k or so), plus valuable items (hand bones sell at 2k or so, elder vampire robe at 4k, etc). I only ever bring mine bombs, and solo bosses fairly often meaning all the ore is mine. I only run naked so that I don't have to repair my armor. Gold is great cause even though I really don't use it for like any of the in-game stuff (I prefer to work to find my materials, plus I don't care about buying armor since I usually play nude), Crimson Tokens only cost like 28k after tax. They almost pay for themselves thanks to Silver Ore, high-value dungeons (16k per BP run), and valuable items (elder vampire robe, broken hand bone, blood-sucking plant, etc that ALL regularly drop in BP), plus you get 10 AP per run. Crimsons alone have made me completely happy with the current token system... I have 90 saved up even though I'm constantly using them. If you have good aim you can also make fairly quick money by catching the big fish on full boats - instant 20k for each one you get. On a full boat you should at least see one every 5 minutes. Pretty boring though, I don't do this anymore. Also, always sell your items on the marketplace if they're worth more there, obviously. Huge difference on many items between store price + marketplace price.

Woohoo, they fixed the seal exchange!
Add me if anyone ever wants someone to run with! Name is Xylophone
Just got it yesterday. Gotta say I'm really enjoying it. I've been looking for a good free MMO for ages and this is probably the best one thus far. Newbie question: When do I get to actually explore the world? Or is there really even a world? I'm like level 6 or 7 and so far it's just been "Talk to this mercenary. Then go to this dungeon and fight this boss. Return home. Repeat."

Korean version has lots more stuff, and even their version only has 3 out of the 5 characters. This game still has lots more content to be added.
Am I the only one who wishes this had an "Insane" mode that's basically Demon's Souls, where you die in 2-3 hits if you're not careful? I just blaze through the dungeon most of the time, the only things that slow me down are the big gnolls, or worms.
Bosses get harder as you progress. Dungeons are always easy though.
We still haven't got Hero mode right? I can't wait for that.

How do I proxy into this game?
Still waiting for the European release :(
What? IT'S STILL NOT OUT!? Wow, it's like Mabinogi all over again. :colbert:
I can't play the game my computer can't handle it.
I'm kind of "famous" now on Vindictus. http://forum.nexon.net/Vindictus/forums/6240621/ShowThread.aspx
haha but that's a pretty easy boss, congrats though :) i love when people somehow recognize me in-game from my youtube
Oh god, I keep seeing people who are much higher levels than me with equipment way below what they should have. Not only that, I never see anyone with enhanced weaponry, what's up with that? I'm do far more damage with my level 14 Laan than some level 20's I've seen.
Cause they don't feel like wasting money when the game is so easy as it is, I assume. I run everything naked, so even though I'm level 38, my Evie's Magic Attack is only like 4600 since I have no armor to boost the stat. I still solo Blood Prince easily, and blow through it in no time when with a 2 or 3 person party, and I'll probably not buy any of the new armor when the update comes out. Its fun to have a TINY bit of extra difficulty, and it means you don't have to waste money on armor / repairing armor. Also, lots of money-savers hold off enchanting all the way to +5, because you wipe the item's deterioration with each enchant. So they spread out the enchants over time if they want to hold onto the item. Enchanting in the low levels is also pointless because it offers a tiny bonus and you can't sell enchanted items on the marketplace, and meanwhile you unlock new armor every like 4 levels so you'll want to sell your old stuff. I didn't enchant anything until lvl 38, now I've got my scythe at +3, and will only go for +4 once I've accumulated enough deterioration for the wipe to be worth it.
