I never had that problem, around the hoarfrost hollow stage it does get a little bit silly but I'm level 49 now and there's areas open everywhere. ( Perilous Ruins, hoarfrost hollow, ainle, ruins of sanctity, prarie entrance, hoarfrost depths etc). Plus one you level up higher perilous ruins even gets hard - there's a level with a bossfight in perilous ruins involving a few werewolves.
I usually don't have a problem with levels because if we need a higher level to do a quest our party wants to do we just go 2man/3man a raid boss in 3 minutes a few times. Also don't skip out on any of the quests because you miss out fucking bigtime. Not only are they worth ridiculous amounts of exp for something you'll probably be doing anyways, they often give titles that hand out massive stat boosts
Any tips on getting materials more easily?
I've been playing for some time now and not a single gnoll buckler had dropped, how else am I going to get a better shield?

Marketplace does not work for me, I am assuming it is because I use an application in order to connect and play vindictus since nexon are too lazy to make a european or internationial client and they limited nexon only to north american users.

Didn't get a picture and I can't get it now as nexon's server is down, from what I remember when I go to the marketplace board, then choose market (or buy or whatever it is), instead of what I assume the market is the board's background is completely white and theres a text that shows SQL or HTTP errors ontop of it, I vaguely remember the error so I can't help much by just this.

Wow, any chance you could PM me the program you're using? I have an australian friend who wanted to play from our steam group but australians can't login.
Also, the vindictus market place works by opening some kind of strange hybrid internet page, configuring your default internet browser to work through the application too might help, not sure though

Got that error too sometimes.. Though not all the time.
Whenever I got it, I would upgrade browser (I don't know for sure but I think it uses IE) and clear cookies etc.. But I could as well be the proxyserver blocking that kind of traffic..
They will probably release Vindictus on steam when it's "ready" for EU.

They are deciding which version of vindictus to launch in EU, the normal one or XE.
And FFS they're doing it with a poll on facebook, and XE edition is leading atm..
I am definitely NOT looking forward to it if it's going to be the XE edition...

Hat value varies greatly, but as a minimum I will pay 800k gold for any non-Vintage craftable hat, and 1.4 mil for any Vintage hat.

What's the difference?
XE lets you jump in the air and do crazy attacks, and you can combo enemies in the air endlessly. Also bosses are a bit easier and have warning popups when they're about to attack.
Overall its supposed to be a bit easier. It looks fun to me, I just wish they'd increase the enemy count or something to keep the difficulty the same.
With that latest patch of vindictus version US, it has become a lot easier. And vindictus XE is even easier than that.. Where's the fun in storming through everything without effort...
Also, based on discussion of the vindictus US forums, people who played the XE edition on the korean servers, said that the jumping and attacking in the air is pretty limited so those features don't really add that much.. And giving warnings when a boss is going to attack is just plain stupid.
And my god XE is so generic that it shows damage on each mob and a combo multiplier..
For me: easier =/= more fun

The thing is, everyone shows that demo video with a Boat 1 boss. Who cares, that boss is super easy no matter what version you're in. I want to see demos of like the Boat 5+ bosses. Supposedly XE doesn't keep making them much easier in the later boats, at least according to MrPapa (one of the more knowledgeable NA players, who played both KR versions and the NA version).

Also, if nobody's found out yet, Episode 8 and 3 attempts per dye payment come out July 13th. Can't wait. :biggrin:
