Nah, I actually really liked his Colors voice, same dude who voiced Chris "I punch boulders" Redfield.
When I first heard it I was like what the hell, but it quickly grew on me.

I was kinda disappointed at first, too, cause Jason Griffith was actually starting to get really good. But still, Roger Craig Smith's voice actually fits Sonic's character.

I can't stand him. He's awful as Sonic. Every time Sonic speaks it sounds like he's about to bust out a Pizza Hut commercial (Roger Smith does many commercials).

Ryan had a good voice, but he really didn't know how to act, it seemed. Sonic Adventure had some of the worst voice acting ever.
The day I see a good Sonic voice actor is when its Jaleel White again.

That coincides with the bad animations and bad lip synch.
Also to the guy wondering about Chili Dogs, they made some small appearences in the games, Sonic Unelashed had them, the opening cutscene to Black Knight had them, and apparently in the Sonic Generations manga both Sonics eat them. It doesnt even matter anyway, food isnt that important to Sonic like it is to Mario with mushrooms.

And Sonic's voice actor never bugged me, too much, really.
Then I heard gameplay from Colors. Goddammit, I hate the voice. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the voices I heard from Sonic Heroes or Unleashed any whatever, but his and Tails's voice sound so unfitting.
The guy who was saying the Hedgehog Engine is modified to be used on Wii, was wrong. It wasent made for the Wii in mind, and it definatly wasent used for Sonic Colors, that game used PhysX Engine last time i checked. The wii version of Unleashed uses a modified internal engine, but it isnt Hedgehog Engine, so you cant say its modified from that.

it could but sega wanted unleashed to come out on all home consoles that christmas, so they got Dimps to make a custom built engine
so apparently Sega licensed the "Retro Engine" by taxman for Sonic CD. Holy shit.

Sonic Colors isnt on the hedgehog engine because it cant use it.
And you listed the games that do use it even though i excluded those games for a reason, because they use it. And hardware is the issue for Wii, so no, it isnt time constraints.
