A lot of americans with a PS3 are gonna import it, so i doubt its that big of a deal. I bet someone on Ebay is gonna put all the collectors stuff excluding the game up for sale.
Its Sega saying sorry to Europe and Australia for once since everyone in those areas usaully get games last most of the time or miss out on a lot of game related content.

This is an absolutely brilliant year to be a gamer, with all of these remakes coming out. Nostalgia is sweet.
All those pictures look amazing, especially the Sonic 2 final boss and Planet Wisp, but the Sonic vs. Shadow fight made me remember these two specific lines:
