Its time again for me to be hopeful for sonic once more. But it will probably just turn into me looking at the reviews or playing it myself and realizing its been dead for at least 8 years now.

I don't know about everyone else but I really enjoyed Colors. It was great.

sonic colors is a huge sign that sega has come to their senses

In my opinion, Sonic Colors was a good sign of how to handle Current / New Sonic; however, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 was a bad sign of how to handle Old Sonic. And since this game is using Old Sonic alongside New Sonic, i'm more than wary in my approach to Generations.
Maybe if they don't recycle the goddamn Sonic Rush engine again...

They did exactly that for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, and like I said above, it wasn't a commendable example (they even reused the Rush engine and physics - the moment you let go of a direction, Sonic near-instantly stops instead of gradually slowing down, and the Homing Attack was essentially an enemy-targeting aerial boost with infinite usage that is expected to be used a lot).

Still technically correct. The game's also entirely 2D gameplay, even for the bosses, with Sonic and various objects / enemies being rendered in 3D on 2D backgrounds. :v:

I dont see the problem with "friends" Tails and Knuckles earned their place in the series.
All the others I wouldn't care if they weren't in a sonic title.

What I didn't like is how they turned big into one of sonics gang when before he was just some loner in the jungle, he was better that way.

I pronounce it like 'Ciao'. I think that's what the pre-4kids and 4kids voice actors pronounced it as.
