I thought SAM only works for games you have installed? Or does pre-ordering it count?
WHY DOES IT SAY NOVEMBER 4TH
I AM IN NORTH AMERICA
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Eh I'd say those achievements weren't unlocked using SAM though, looks like achievements earned by some Testers or something, they seem to scale up correctly.

EARTH-SHATTERING SPOILERS
THE WHOLE THING IS RUINED
I was so worried about pricing. I had $60 saved up for over a year and I had to dip into it several times until $30 was all I had remaining. Definitely pre-ordering this right now.
Not sure if I should pre-order, or wait untill Winter Sale. I only have so much money to go around.
Just bought it, installing my pre-order bonuses now. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
But why do Sonic 3D Blast and S3&K take up 367 megabytes?
$30? Wow, that's a steal.
Recieve a copy of Sonic 3D Blast AND Sonic 3 and Knuckles?! Damn, Sega. You know can have my money.
Steam is officially the best place to get it.
Friend just told me it is $60 for the PS3 version. Haha, consoles.
oh how I wish this was modern chemical plant zone's music

$50 on 360, but then again the PC has ridiculous system requirements so I couldn't run it on there anyway.

To Sonic Team's credit, the one they went with is still pretty good.
So is it going to suck like the rest of the most recent sonic games? The last one I enjoyed was Sonic Heroes.

No, of course not. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, it's all great. If you're not convinced just try out the demo.

Yes, I'm sorry to say the things a trainwreck. So many bugs and glitches, and they introduced like, 20 new friends. It's untested and certainly no effort at all went into it. Yawnfest!!

I might be able to force it to run better than a console, but only time will tell.
A demo on Steam would be the greatest thing ever.

Where were you for Sonic Unleashed.
You should be watching gameplay and maybe try the demo.
Sonic Unleashed was only good for the daytime levels, though..
Nighttime levels just made me wish I was playing God of War. :c

Its a better step in the right direction that isnt a hedgehog with guns or a shitty glitchfest they call Sonic 06
Has anybody heard the Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 demos that just came out?

It sounds awesome, man.
Not 100% sure if this is the official track, but here's a version of the Speed Highway theme:

His channel has a lot of "fast" Generations songs, which seem to be legit but are sped up so much you'll want to kill yourself just from listening to them.
[editline]lol[/editline]
Some guy on NeoGAF said this
I've been checking a few videos of Virtua Tennis 4 PC, if what this uploader says in the description is true, Virtua Tennis 4 even runs on an awful Intel GMA, which is way below the minimum requirements for VT4 (Geforce 7800GT or Radeon X1800).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWi9hluv6aE
The video shows the configuration tool there, it has one more graphics setting I forgot in my previous post. There's the resolution, anti-aliasing, vsync, and a shader model option.
In the Shader Model option there's an option for Shader Model 3.0 (DX9c) or Shader Model 2.0 (DX9). Those are the only 2 I've seen and probably they're the only options in the Shader Model setting.
Well, we can think of them like this: SM3.0 = high quality, SM2.0 = low quality.
Anyway, if Generations is like Virtua Tennis 4 (which had an HD4870 or GTX260 for recommended requirements), it's possible that the requirements might be exaggerated.
TL;DR VT4 and Sonic Generations were ported to PC by the same company, and if Generations is anything like VT4 the steep requirements are inaccurate.
Makes sense.

imo the only thing wrong with sonic 06 was the fact it was glitchy, doesn't mean it wasn't a good game, just had a lot of room for improvement/fixes :p

And some brief Hedgehog on Human chick action.

The boss fights are boring and waste your time(especially Iblis in his larva form), the level design is god awful, knuckles and rouge get stuck on walls, sonic can walk the loops, silvers telekenisis physics suck ass, the story is ridiculous and makes no sense at times(how does silver have that chaos emrald in the past, because thats a huge plothole). They didnt even try with the level variety, you play Wave Ocean 3 fucking times im pretty sure in just Sonic's story alone, and theres no level variation between stories in the slightest. People can talk about SA1's level reptition, but at least you had different gameplay styles, which 2 out of the 3 main stories do not have. The mock speed stages have some of the worse control ive ever used in my life because jumping or moving at all in mid-air can cause you to rocket off the side of the screen.
There is no room for improvement, its not a good game, the ending to the game itself bascially says the game never happened. Want me to go on? Its all truth and they will never fix the rushed mess that is Sonic 06.
P.S The load times are abysmal too Sega.

I'm sorry but what
High speed sections were ass to control, and a slightest touch killed you, animations were incomplete and terrible, and several times sonic would launch to new areas upside down with no animation what so ever. It's plot tried far to hard to be grimdark serious. The original Silver boss fight as a whole (It's no use). Floaty jumping, shoehorned escort levels, characters getting stuck in object, bugs out the ass, shadow's sections period.
Just
Jeeze the list can still go on, Sonic 06 had literally nothing right with it.

i was a kid when i played it, so i wasn't bothered by any of this tbh. i enjoyed the game and i understand that it's very buggy, but i cannot make it so that i didn't enjoy it just to prove your points correctly that the game has nothing right about it
i don't know what else to say, i liked the game. i enjoyed it, i understand why that may seem hard for you to comprehend, but i simply just enjoyed it. i played it when i was like... 11 or 12, so i don't know what i was thinking at the time about it, all i know is that i enjoyed it. sorry to displease you
I couldn't even complete Sonic's story because of Radical Train, nor start Shadow's or Silver's due to the rental disc being scratched, so I can't post a whole opinion on Sonic '06 - honestly, some people may like it, but it didn't have any redeeming qualities to me.
i played it when i was like... 11 or 12
welp
You're implicitly claiming objectively while simultaneously stating your bias and subjectivity.
MUST. RESIST. LISTENING.
I heard the first 15 seconds and had to stop, I just can't listen to it before playing the game. BUT IT'S REALLY TEMPTING.
Why wasn't this in it? :(
